That day I jogged to school in the pouring rain. I know I'm absolutely insane. But it was either that or go in Max and his girlfriend's car. No thanks.

When I got to school I was soaking wet. "YOU'RE CRAZY!" Regina yelled from inside. "THANK YOU!" I shouted back blowing sarcastically blowing kisses. I was waiting for Max.

I hugged Max tightly. "Have fun on you trip." I said to him. "Don't hug me when you're wet." Max groaned. "I do what I want." I replied sticking out my tongue. "See ya little bro!" I shouted as he got on the bus.

I walked inside. To Regina looking shocked and Janis smirking. "What?" I asked. "I've never seen you act like that." Regina said star-struck. "Don't get to used to it." I grumbled with a mock glare. "Now there's the Clover we all know!" Regina said. I just laughed.

"Are you okay?" Cady asked. We were allowed to leave early because of the rain storm. Now we were walking past the sign where me and grandad were in a car crash by. "Yeah." I mumbled. Looking at the sign. I remember the blood. The screaming. The horror on everyone's faces. The sirens.

I saw them all look anxiously at each other. I realised I had been staring at the sign for 10 minutes. There was tears building up in my eyes. "L-let's go." I said as tears threatened to fall from my eyes.

At Regina's house I was still re-playing the car crash. Call me paranoid but to this day I can't trust cars. "Are you okay? You've been kind of quiet..." Said Regina. "I have to go."

"Wait! Your not leaving without explaining yourself!" Regina said running out into the rain. "I'm sorry but I just need to be alone."
"You need to loosen up." Said Regina taking a step closer to me. "Well maybe it's better this way." I said taking a step closer to Regina. "I don't think so." Regina said taking another step closer. "But I do." I insisted closing the distance between us.

For a few seconds we just stood there kissing. Until I pulled away. "I'm sorry this was a mistake. Forget about it. Please." I said running only just noticing the others cheering and returning to reality. I just ran. Ran. And ran.

I had a clear place in mind. It was a small park near my house. The neighbourhood kids were there. It was so endearing their innocence. I have always had one rule. Don't let anyone too close. Ever.

Not after I did last time. All I got was a broken heart, a torn up picture and a piece of string.
