"This is the place?" Mark asked, looking at the metal apartment door. The building was a little out of the way, but looked new and clean. It smelled of wood (Hey, stop it.) and new paint.

"I don't want to walk into her place by accident." Mark spat, obviously thinking of Bristol. He crossed his arms, scowling.

"It's what Lauryn said. She said she moved in with her roommate here not to long ago." You replied looking around, making sure that you weren't being watched.

You couldn't help it. The same sense of pure, constant, paranoia and anxiety filled your mind and body. You had a break from her for what? A few months maybe? Now she was back, and making your life even worse than before.

'Of course, right when things were going good... I liked her video thing better.' You thought, bitterly.

"So... Who do you think her roommate is? I can only think of who I don't want it to be." Mark said quietly. He messed with his hair, a sure sign he was nervous.

You pulled his hand away. You held it tightly between both of your hands and tilted your head.

"We'll just have to see. And we're staying with them, so we'll have to get along with them."

Mark sighed loudly.

"Okay, I can do that. But wh-" He started, but was interrupted by muffled shouting coming from inside the apartment.

Two voices yelled at each other, but you couldn't make out what they were saying.

Once it got quiet, you shot Mark a quick 'What the heck was that?' glance, and only received a puzzled shrug in response.

The lock on the door clicked, and the door swung open.

"Mark?!"

'Well, okay then.'

Jsyk: Lauryn may-or-may-not have a love interest. (My second choice YouTuber, lol!) Sorry if you don't like that, but it's my story, and I'm gonna have fun with it.

Battery is going to die, can't save, gotta go, see ya!
