(CW: Feeling guilty of something that wasn't one's fault)

It all happened so fast. One moment Newton Star was arguing with someone, another moment Newton Star saw a glimpse of another person turning into a threat to its collection of stars, it shouted at the people; accidently using its power and next thing it knew, the people were gone bit its Starlights were all toddler sized with toddler like minds. All looking at Newton Star with innocence like no other.

Now, Newton Star had five little comets to take care of; silently panicking at its situation. It watched as the comets did their own things while being situated on the mountains of blankets. Honestly, seeing the five play and talk, literal nonsense calmed Newton Star's nerves. The variants weren't even actually babbling or anything. All it was, was a series of beeps and clicks as their form of communication. Newton Star smiled and sighed, resting its top arms on of its knees and burying its face in its hands, rubbing its eyes.

"Ok... how am I gonna fix this? I'm literally a powerful being... I should know how to fix this..." Newton Star muttered, sighing in between.

Newton Star then hummed in confusion and looked up from its hands and looked down at the little hands on its leg; Luminix. Newton Star giggled, picking up Luminix; who beeped in excitement. Newton Star emitted laughter and gave a little kiss on Luminix's small rounded rays. Luminix giggled, squealing with delight and kicking ver little legs while still in the air. Newton Star snorted and held Luminix close. As it did that, it felt more tiny hands grabbing onto it.

Oh no. Big, adorable eyes were all staring at Newton Star. Vesper and Pulsar making grabby hands at it while Solaris and Eclipse were staring at it with puppy eyes. Newton Star sighed dramatically and smiled.

"Ok. Ok. Put your grabby hands and manipulative puppy eyes away. I'll pick you guys up." Newton Star said, placing Luminix on its shoulder and picking up the others; one for each arms. Luminix managed to climb down and join in being snuggled up in one of Newton Star arms.

Newton Star snorted and leaned back against the wall and stared up at the ceiling. "What am I gonna do?" Newton Star frowned, guilt taking over it.

As much as it was adorable of tiny toddler sized comets, it wanted them to be back to their adult size forms. Newton Star placed its comets in its right arms, picking up a blanket and setting it on its lap; placing the comets on the blanket, and staring back up at the ceiling. Newton Star stared back up at the ceiling, a single crystallized tear falling from its eyes. Newton Star held in a breath and lowered its head while squeezing its eyes shut. Newton Star was trying hard not to cry, guilt riding it like it was a roller coaster.

A small set of worried beeps filled its ears and opened up its eyes, being met with worried looks staring back at them. Newton Star wiped away its tears and gave a weak chuckle, taking in a deep inhale. "Sorry about that, my little starlights. I didn't mean to worry you. I just..." Newton Star exhaled deeply. "I'm so sorry that I got you in this situation. I didn't mean to. I was so worried that you were going to get hurt... I didn't think my power would do this to you." Newton Star pulled in the variants in closer, gentle arms wrapped all around them.

"I'm so sorry..." Newton Star broke down, crying ensued. "I'm sorry... please forgive me." Newton Star cried softly, curling up around the variants. In the back of Newton Star's mind, it hoped that its starlights understood it.

To Newton Star's surprised, small squeaks ensued, and they snuggled up closed to Newton Star, trying to hug it. Newton Star gave a weak laugh and shakily inhaled. "I'm sorry. Please forgive me. Please... I would never do this on purpose. I would never..." Newton Star choked, letting the tears fall that hit the blanket, protecting the variants from the crystal tears. More small squeaks and beeps filled its ears, and it rubbed the small little comets tiny heads.

Newton Star sniffled and wiped its eyes. Newton Star breathed in once again, trying to ground itself and look down at the variants who were still doing their best attempts to hug it. It all suddenly came crashing down on Newton Star and said in a quiet tone.

"None of you are mad..." Newton Star stared at the floor and glanced at the variants who were staring at it. Newton Star gave a sad smile and let out another weak laughter. "My little starlights... even like this, you can never stay mad..." Newton Star snorted. "This is one of the reasons why I love all of you." Newton Star sighed.

"I promise all you... that I will reverse the effects. Hopefully, sooner rather than later..." Newton Star avoided their gazes, more tears falling from its face. "I promise." Newton Star whispered.

Once the variants were sleeping, Newton Star collected itself and exhaled, closing its eyes and meditated, focusing all of its energy and power onto fixing the problem. Newton Star focused and opened its eyes, which were now blank with the reflection of the rainbow in its eyes and floated a few inches of the ground. Newton Stsr murmured a few words, an orb of magic surrounding Newton Star like a cage and finally letting all of its power near the variants, letting it surround them and encase all of them.

The room was filled with the exact same glow, Newton Star never breaking its focus. A moment passed by before the light died out slowly, and Newton Star was gently put back on the ground, eyes shut tightly. Newton Star was honestly scared to see the results; but it knew that it would never get the answer if it didn't open its eyes.

Newton Star huffed and opened its eyes and smiled in relief. Its starlights were all back to normal, still sleeping all together. Newton Star; even though it was relieved that it got the variants back to normal, guilt was still lingering. Newton Star rubbed its eyes and leaned back. It was tired. It used most of its energy to fix the problem.

Stress.

Newton Star couldn't feel stress at the moment. Any negative emotions was bad. Sure, it could cry, but it didn't want the world to end due to it being upset. Newton Star growled lowly.

"Ok... calm down... calm yourself." Newtkn Star breathed. "Breathe." Newton Star looked at the sleeping comets and sighed. "They're all good. They're fine. They're back to the way they were before the... before the blast." Newton Star bit its lip.

"Damn..." Newton Star laid back against the wall into a more comfortable postion, pulling its own blanket over it and falling asleep to hopefully take its mind off of the day.

When Newton Star stirred awake, it felt a lot of weight on its body. Newton Star opened up its eyes and looked down to see its constellations all bundled up and on top of it, with a little note on its chest.

Wait? When did it lay down? Did the variants place it down do it could sleep better? Newton Star took the letter and opened it up. It was written by all the variants.

"Newton Star, our beloved. We remember everything. We wanted to let you know that we are not mad or upset in any way, shape, or form. We know and realize that it was an accident and that you did not mean to cause any intentional harm to us. Nor that it was directed. We understand that you were trying to protect us, and you did, and we are thankful for that. So please, don't blame yourself for when you clearly had no harmful motives towards us. We love you way too much for us to blame you for something that was an obvious and complete accident. We would never hold a grudge like that against you.

We love you, Newton Star.

With love -
Eclipse, Pulsar, Vesper, Solaris, and Luminix."

After Newton Star was finished reading the letter, it had tears in its eyes again. But this time, it was tears of joy and content. Newton Star flipped the back of the note, which in giant wording wrote: P.S. We moved you so you were more comfy laying down as to apposed of sitting upwards.

Newton Star gave a small chuckled and folded back up the note and placed it where it would be safe and snuggled all of its stars in its arms and fell back asleep, finally being relieved of guilt.
