Eclipse heard it all. But it still hurt. It was painful. Their heart hurt. They buried themselves in the blankets and pillows, curling in on themselves and letting the tears fall from their eyes. The sobs were muffled and stifled as they gripped onto themselves, the conversation playing over and over in their head.

The group cackled and joked about a certain animatronic. One that was orange and black, cackling and mocking on how no one could ever love them. Eclipse hid behind one of the walls, fists clenched, trying to let it not bother them, but it was.

"Please... anyone who loves that brat is delusional. He'll probably manipulate someone into loving him." a deep voice joked, followed by howls of laughter... Moon.

"I'll laugh if anyone asks him out as a joke. I want it on camera!" a sort of cheery like voice said... Sun.

"Put on our YouTube channel and get millions of views! We could probably pay someone millions to ask him out as a joke." another cheery like voice said... Lunar.

"Probably have to pay them trillions due to how awful and disgusting he looks. I mean, have you seen him?!" Moon cackled.

Sun and Lunar followed through and cackled along with Moon.

"Please! Such a damn copycat. Swap a few colours around and call yourself fucking "Eclipse"? Ha! Please! With a name like that, I expect one to be looking like a disgusting copycat!" Sun spat.

Why couldn't they move? Are they torturing themselves because they deserve it? Tears flowed out like a river and finally ran away. Eclipse didn't know where they were going, but it was far away from the misgendering, the jokes, the pain.

Eclipse fell to the ground. They were in the woods and collapsed in on themselves and cried. They cried hard. Sobbed. Eclipse screamed into the sky.

They screamed. And screamed. And screamed.

The oil splattered all over them as their claws dugged into their chassis; the casing on their arms were destroyed, and their faceplate was scratched up, and a few rays were broken off.

Eclipse quietly sobbed. Their sobs were muffled, but they were pained. It was like a weight that was pulling them down. What if Sun, Moon, and Lunar were right? What if they were that unlovable? Eclipse sobbed harder, digging their claws into their arms. They didn't realize that Newton Star formed behind them until they put a gentle hand on their body.

Eclipse looked up at Newton Star, face full of scratches, tiredness, and pain. Newton Star's expression was filled with sorrow and concern and leaned down to kiss Eclipse's rays.

That broke Eclipse even more as they quickly spin around and buried themselves in Newton Star's arms and screamed out a sob. Newton Star didn't think twice and wrapped their arms around Eclipse's body, rubbing the back of their head. Newton Star kissed a couple of Eclipse's rays as they continued to sob. Once the sobbing slowly calmed down, Newton Star pulled away a bit, cupping their face and wiping a few stray tears. Eclipse let out a few shaky breaths.

"My Starlight... what made you cry?" Newton Star asked.

Eclipse whimpered and listened to Newton Star's soft shushes until they could reply. "A-am I... am I that unlovable? A-am I that disgusting looking?" Eclipse choked back a sob.

Newton Star couldn't believe what it was hearing. Of course, Eclipse was lovable. Eclipse wasn't disgusting looking. In fact, Eclipse was so beautiful. Newton Star touched foreheads, Eclipse's rays retracting all the way, its heart hurt hearing their love in pain.

"My Starlight... you are extremely lovable. You're gorgeous. Stunning, even... what made you ask?" Newton Star asked, not wanting to rush Eclipse to answer.

Eclipse let out a shaky inhale. "I-I... I overheard Sun... a-and Moon and Lunar say that they didn't know how anyone could love me... h-how anyone could date me. A-and h-how they pay someone to ask me out as a joke..." Eclipse choked up and was feeling the urge to cry again, being pulled into a hug.

Newton Star was pissed. Furious even. How dare those fuckers say those things about its love. How dare those fuckers joke about such a thing. Newton Star snorted angrily but sighed, hugged Eclipse tighter, and let them cry on it. Newton Star rubbed their back, gently coursing them to calm down.

"S-star? You love me, right? N-not as a joke... right? Please tell me the truth." Eclipse squeaked, and they were looking into Newton Star's eyes.

From the look from Newton Star, Eclipse could tell that it wasn't lying. Eclipse inhaled and exhaled through their teeth and was pulled back into Newton Star's arms. Newton Star would make those assholes lives a living Hell.

Newton Star activated its power and sent it on its way to ruin those three's lives. Newton Star watched as its power shot through to its victims and went back to Eclipse. They were important. They will always be important. Eclipse clinged onto Newton Star, and it let them, the tears hitting its chest. It kissed Eclipse's forehead and whispered sweet nothings to them.

"My lovely and sweet little Starlight. I promise you, no more hurt will be thrown your way. From here on out, you will have me as your protection in this form. I will be your guardian." Newton Star vowed, burying its face into Eclipse neck, giving it a little kiss.

Eclipse stifled a few breaths but finally managed to get their breathing back to normal. "Thank you." Eclipse whispered.

"Of course, my love." Newton Star whispered back, refusing to let go of Eclipse.
