Brady was coming home from a long and disappointing road trip. The Senators just weren't playing well and Brady was getting into more fights than usual. But even after every bad game Brady kept a smile on his face. He never mixed work and family together. Even if you tried to bring up the game or fights he would change the topic instantly.

You've been dating Brady for almost 6 years now and your relationship was what people would describe as prefect. You two clicked from day one, you barely argued, you both were just so happy together.

While you waited for Brady to come home you decided to clean and organize the house. You started downstairs in the kitchen and living room. You then moved up stairs to your bedroom and started with your closet. You were going through your clothes when you came across all your hockey jerseys. Most of them being Brady's but you found your Tkachuk Flames jersey. Meaning it was Matthews jersey. Matthew gave it to you after he got drafted by the Flames in 2016 and Brady hated when you wore it. He hated that you even had it.

You grabbed the jersey and thought about how sweet Brady has been lately. You decided, being the shit disturber you are, you were going wear it for when Brady got home. You put the jersey to the side and continued to clean.

Hours later you got a text from Brady saying his plane landed and that he'd be home soon. You finished up what you were doing and then got ready for Brady's arrival. You put the jersey on and to top it off the Flames were playing so you put the game on.

It wasn't long until you heard Brady's key unlock the door.

"I'm home princess" you heard him yell from the front door

"I'm in the kitchen" you yell back

"Mmm it smells go-" Brady stops mid sentence your back was too him so you couldn't see his face but you knew he was there

You turn around to see Brady with an annoyed look on his face. You tried so hard not to laugh at him.

"Hey baby, how was the flight" you said kissing him but he didn't kiss you back

"It was okay" Brady said with a bit of sass

Brady then walks away and you assumed into the living room, which is where you had the Flames game playing. Seconds later Brady started yelling at the top of his lungs.

"OKAY WHAT IS GOING ON? DID MATTHEW SET THIS UP? IS THERE A CAMERA SOME WHERE? OKAY MATTY YOU'RE THE BETTER HOCKEY PLAYER! NOW STOP TRYING TO STEAL MY GIRL!" Brady yelled as he walked through the house

You started laughing hard at Brady. He heard you and talked into the kitchen.

"Babe seriously, why are you wearing his jersey? I've had such a hard week and just wanted to come home to be with you to cuddle and to forget about how shit we played" Brady was now being serious and almost on the verge of tears

"Baby I was just joking around. I found this jersey in our closet and thought it would be funny to see you get jealous" You pulled the jersey off revealing one of Brady's Senators hoodies and pulling him into a hug

"I am not jealous of you wearing Matthews jersey" He said letting go of you

"Right, so you wouldn't mind if I put it back on" You teased him

"Please don't it looks ugly on you" He said not wanting to tell the truth

Your jaw dropped. "Braeden Tkachuk! Just for that I'm going to wear it for the rest of the night" Before you could grab the jersey Brady took it and ran away with it

By the time you caught up with him he had hid it somewhere. You didn't even bother looking or asking for it. You didn't even care anymore, you just wanted to be with your boyfriend now.

Brady had suggested you two have a movie night in bed. You agreed of course, so you grabbed snacks and drinks and hopped in bed with Brady. You were mid way through a movie when Brady turns to look at you, while you shoved popcorn in your mouth.

"What?" you mumbled with your mouth full as you looked up at him

"Who really is the better hockey player?" He asked you

You choked on your popcorn before finishing your swallow. "Are you serious?" He nodded his head "You are baby, Marty's got nothing on you. I don't even watch Matthew's games. I only watch yours cause that all I care about"

He then smiled and then cuddled into you.

"Do I really look ugly in the Flames jersey" You then asked

It was quiet for a bit and then you heard Brady say quietly "No..You look good in everything"

"I love you Y/N, I'm sorry I get protective" He said

"I love you too Mat- I mean Brady" You said on purpose with a little laugh

Brady got up and faced you "I will fight him if I have to, don't tempt me" You laughed so hard at how serious he was being

"Calm down, you don't have to fight anyone"

You two went back to cuddling and continued to watch the movie.
