You drove home after a long day of work. It was about 11:30pm so all you wanted to do was go home and fall asleep with your boyfriend.

You finally got to your apartment building, you parked the car and got out. You walked up to your apartment door and unlocked it. As soon as you got in you looked down to take your shoes off, but you noticed an extra pair of shoes that weren't yours. You thought maybe your boyfriends sister came to visit, but then remembered she wasn't coming for another 2 weeks.

"Y/B/N" you yelled

There was no answer so you thought he was sleeping or something. You walked up to your bedroom door and opened it to see something you never have wished to see. He was in bed with another girl.

"Y/B/N?" you said as tears fell down your face

"Y/N, I can explain" he said as he helped the girl cover herself

"Don't even bother. I guess the rumours where true. We're done" you said as you ran out of the apartment and back down to your car

At first you were driving around because you were upset but you needed somewhere to go so you decided to go to your best friend's house. You finally got there and walked up to the door,  you didn't really care about anything at this point you just hoped Kris opened the door. You rang the door bell for the third time and he finally opened it.

"Oh my god Y/N, what's wrong" he said

You didn't say anything, you just ran up to him and hugged him. He didn't hesitate to hug you back. You two were standing in the door way hugging for a bit until he picked you up and brought you inside to the living room. He sat on the couch with you on his lap just holding you and letting you cry.

"How about I get you a glass of water, then you can calm down a little and maybe we can talk about it if you want, okay?" he said

You nodded your head. He put you down on the couch, placing a blanket over you before going to the kitchen to get you some water. He came back handing you the glass of water, you sat up before grabbing it and taking a sip. The cold water ran down your throat which helped you calm down a little.

"Thank you Kris" you said

He smiled "No problem, so are you comfortable talking about it" he asked as he sat beside you

You took a deep breath and nodded "You're gonna find out eventually"

Before you started Kris moved closer to you and wrapped his arm around your waist. Then looked up at you with the "I'm ready" look.

"Well, to make a long story short..." you paused as tears started to fall down your cheeks

Kris saw and pulled you on his lap as he rubbed your back trying to keep you calm.

You took another deep breath and continued "I-I saw Y/B/N having sex with another girl when I came home today" you managed to spit out as more tears came down

"WHAT!!! I'm going to kill that f*cker. Y/N he doesn't deserve someone like you, I don't want to say it but I did tell you he was bad news and wasn't right for you" he said in an angry tone

"I know Kris, I know I should have listened to you" you said into his chest

"Y/N, you deserve someone who loves you for you, who's not just gonna use you for sex, someone who treats you like a princess, who will do anything for you at anytime of the day"

You didn't say anything you jut looked up at Kris who was looking down at you. His hand slowly came up to your face and wiped away the tears. He then looked at your lips then at your eyes and started to lean in until he closed the gap between you two. You didn't hesitate to kiss back, it just felt like the right thing to do. Your lips moved together perfectly, the kiss ended after a little while. Kris kept your foreheads together.

"You don't know how long I've been wanting to do that, Y/N I love you and it broke my heart to see you with a guy like Y/B/N. I know you just got cheated on but when you're ready to date again I can be that guy that can do all those things I said before" he confessed to you

You were in such shock at what he just told you. You didn't know what to do or what to say, so you just kissed him.

"Kris?" you said after the kiss

"Yeah"

"I love you too, and I'm not just saying that I just thought you'd never like me back so I dated other guys to get you off my mind but they never did" you confessed

After confessing your feelings to each other, you both decided that when you were ready you'd go on a date.

For the rest of the night you and Kris just cuddled on the couch watching whatever was on TV.
