You had just gotten home from the Stanley Cup parade in Pittsburgh. You slowly took your shoes off and then slowly waddle your way up the stairs to the bedroom you shared with Sidney.

You were currently 32 weeks pregnant with triplets. You could pop at anytime at this point.

For the rest of the day you and Sid didn't do to much just ate dinner, sat around watching TV, and then headed to bed after a long day.

***2:00 am***

You woke up at an odd time of day with a bunch of pain in your stomach so you sat up. You had placed your hand where your bum once laid in the bed and it felt wet. You then felt the shorts you were wearing and they were soaked. The pain in your stomach was getting worse and worse you then realized that it was time.

"SID!!" you yelled waking up Sidney

"Y/N? What's wrong?" Sidney said sitting up and looking over at your side of the bed

"The babies" was all you said

Sidney then got up put a shirt on grabbed your bag that was already packed for you. He also grabbed the prepared baby bag and then he helped you down the stairs, to the car, and to the hospital.

All right Mrs. Crosby we're going to take you in to have your C-section now. You were feeling pain left, right and centre you were taking deep breaths every 5 seconds, you just wanted the babies out.

A bunch of nurses started to roll you down the hall and into the surgery room. As they got you ready for it Sidney stood by your side wearing surgeon scrubs.

"I'll be here the whole time babe" Sid said as he took your hand

You gave Sidney a little smile as you squeezed and pulled his hand closer.

"Okay Mrs. Crosby, we're just going to numb you from the waist down so that you don't feel any pain but you may feel some pulling and a little pressure while the doctor does the C-section" the nurse told you

You nodded your head as you took a deep breath. You waited about 5 minutes until the doctor came to do your C-section.

After a little while you finally heard a loud cry. You couldn't help yourself but let out a few tears you couldn't believe that the day has come and the babies we're coming out one by one. Sidney looked down and saw that you had tears running down your cheeks. He slowly wiped them away.

"Why are you crying" He asked

"I'm just so happy that this is finally happening and that I'm here doing it with you" You told him

Just as Sidney was about to speak you heard the doctor say...

"It's a boy"

You instantly saw Sid's face light up you knew how badly he wanted a boy and he got one. the doctor then handed your son to a nurse  and then proceeded on to the other babies. A few minutes later the doctor then pulled out another baby and you heard more crying, which made you so happy.

"Another boy" the doctor announced to you and Sidney

Shortly after then you heard the third and final cry.

"It's a girl" the doctor spoke

You were so happy that you got a girl. Of course you were happy with your sons but you wanted a girl so that you could do cute girly things with.

The nurses then took all three babies to get cleaned up and the doctor stitched you up and told you that the numbing should where off soon. The other nurses then wheeled you back to your room.

"You should get some rest, as soon as you wake up we'll bring the babies in" the nurse softly told you as you nodded your head

As much as you wanted to see your babies you did feel a little tired. You looked at Sidney who was now out of scrubs and back in his own clothes.

"I love you so much, Sidney" you said with a smile on your face

"I love you so much too, Y/N" he said and he bent down and kissed you on the head "Get some rest" you heard him say as you dozed off.

You stretched out your arms and legs as you woke up. You felt a little pain where the doctor had cut you but nothing to big deal.

"Well hello beautiful" Sid said as he walked through the door with drinks

You smiled at him and took your drink.

A nurse had walked by your room and noticed you were awake she walked in and asked

"Would you like a few more minutes or would you like the babies now?"

You looked up at Sid and he just nodded.

"Now is good" you answered

The nurse nodded and smiled then walked out of the room to get the babies

A few minutes later two nurses came into the room rolling in three baby beds you smiled so big you were so excited. You finally got to see your babies. The nurses then said that if you had any questions to just give them a call and with that they left you and Sidney with the babies.

Sidney knew you wanted to hold one so he slowly picked up your daughter and handed her to you. Sid watched as you looked down at your daughter. He then picked up both boys and sat in a chair beside your bed.

You both sat in silence for a while until you heard Sid say.

"Thank you"

"For what?" you ask

"For these three perfect babies, I know is was a team effort but without you they wouldn't be here today" he said

You just smiled at Sidney and the boys they were just the cutest.

After being in the hospital for a couple days it was finally time to take the triplets home. The doctor had just removed your stitches and cleared you to go home. You just had to get dressed and get all the kids in there car seats.

When you finished getting dressed you walked out of the bathroom. You saw three ready to go babies, two packed bags and one ready Sidney Crosby.

"Wow you already have this dad thing down" you said walking up to Sid

"It took a little time, I'm still trying" he said pulling you in for a hug

You then grabbed both bags and one of the babies while Sid grabbed two babies. You both headed towards the door and out to the car. You and Sid put the babies in there's places and made sure they were all buckled in and then you and Sid got in your seats and headed home.

When you got home you got all the babies out of the car and out of there car seats and into there cribs. You fed them right before you left the hospital so they were still asleep.

After that you changed into more comfortable clothes and headed down stairs. Sid had made a little dinner for the two of you. For the rest of the evening you and Sid watched movies and cuddled up on the couch, until you heard the babies crying.

Sidney had gotten up to go see that it was your daughter crying so he picked her up and rocked her back and forth in his arms. As you watched him you thought to yourself that you couldn't have wish for a better husband and father of your children.
