"Hey Y/N can you make me a sandwich or something to eat?" Your boyfriend Brad asked you

"Ugh yeah of course" You said getting up. As you walked pass Brad she slaps your ass

Teuvo gives him a 'what the fuck' but he doesn't see it. As soon as you disappear into the kitchen Teuvo speaks up.

"Come on man don't treat Y/N like that" Teuvo says

"What are you talking about?" Brad questions

"First off you don't slap a women, anywhere and second you could've easily gotten up and made yourself something to eat" He tells him "Y/N is special don't treat her like a piece of shit" Teuvo adds

Brads scoffs "Whatever man, You aren't the one dating her"He says completely ignoring what Teuvo just said

Teuvo shakes his head. You later return to the living room with a plate of food for Brad and also one for each you and Teuvo. Brad takes the plate and starts stuffing his face. Teuvo on the other hand thanks you for it and then begins eating.

Teuvo has been a close friend of yours for a while now. Just under a year ago you developed feelings for him but said nothing. You didn't want to ruin anything between you two. That's when you started dating Brad. He was suppose to make you forget about Teuvo but it only worked for so long.

Teuvo hated Brad with a passion but kept his mouth shut. He was head over heals for you and it angered him knowing you were with this douchebag of a guy. He saw how Brad treated you like shit. He was so controlling over you and was just so disrespectful towards you. He stayed quiet though because he didn't want to come between you two and ruin what he thought was your happiness.

Later that night when Teuvo went home, Brad turns to you.

"So what's going on between you two?" He asks you as he crosses his arms over his chest

You give him a confused look "Ugh nothing, He's my best friend"

"Oh please. He told me not to touch you earlier and all evening you were sitting beside him"

"Brad I was sitting in between you two"

Brad rolls his eyes "You probably already fucked him, when I was on my work trip"

"Where the fuck is this coming from? I haven't slept with anyone so please get that out of your head"

Brad continued to accuse you of things you never done. He started yelling and screaming, calling you names. You yelled back until he did something you never thought would happen. He started grabbing things and throwing them in your direction. You got so freaked out and ran to your bedroom and hiding in the closet. You locked the door and dialled Teuvo's number without hesitation.

"Is everything okay Y/N?" Teuvo said as he answered the home, he had just gotten home not long ago

"No Brad started accusing me of cheating on him. We started to argue and then he started throwing things and calling me names" You tell him in a panic

"What!? Are you okay, please tell me you're okay" He says

"I'm okay Teuvo, I'm hiding in my closet"

"Stay there I'm on my way"

"Please hurry" You cried

After you hung up you stopped hearing smashing sounds and yelling. You heard the door open and then slam shut. He had left but you still stayed in your spot waiting for Teuvo to come.

Moments later you headed a key unlock the door then hear your bedroom door creek open.

"Y/N you still in there?" Teuvo asked as he knocked on the closet door

You got up and opened the door. You were immediately pulled into a tight hug.

"I'm so happy you're okay" He told you

Teuvo didn't ask any questions about exactly what happened he just helped you clean up the place.

You had finished cleaning but couldn't even look at the place without thinking about what had happened. Teuvo suggested you two go back to his place to try and forget about it.

The drive to his place was quiet. It wasn't until you stepped foot into Teuvo's apartment that he says something.

"You deserve more you know?" He said as he closed the door

"What do you mean?" You asked him

"That douchebag doesn't deserve you Y/N"

"He's not a douchebag Teuvo"

"What? Y/N, I know you are not stupid so please do not act like it. Brad is the biggest douche out of them all. He so disrespectful towards you, he tells you what to do, has no manners. He's horrible. Why are you even with him?" Teuvo rants

"Why do you even care Teuvo? You never seem to before" You spit out

"Because I like you Y/N" Teuvo pauses from the shocked look on his face "You deserve some one who cares about you, who will cherish you every single day. Some one who doesn't treat you like a slave and doesn't touch you inappropriately when it's not needed. Y/N I will take care of you and treat you like the queen you are." He pauses again "You belong with me Y/N. I can do all that and more for you"

You stared at Teuvo in disbelief. Did he really just confess to liking you?

"Teuvo I- I've had feelings for you for a little while now. I didn't think you felt the same so I never said anything. We can't be together though" You say sadly

"What are you talking about? Y/N I just told you that I like you. That I can be your perfect boyfriend and you're saying we can't be together. Why not?" Teuvo says in confusion

"Because I'm technically still with Brad. We didn't break up. He just walked out. I'm sure he'll go back after he cools down."

Teuvo rolls his eyes "Please tell me you aren't going back to him." He begs

You start crying and shake your head. "I don't want to go back. He's everything you say he is and I didn't realize it at first but as the relationship went on it became worse" You cry

"Then I'll take you back to get your things and you can break up with him" He tells you as he pulls you in for a hug

Later that night you started to doze off as the two of you watched a movie.

"I should get going. He's probably back by now" You says

"Y/N you aren't going anywhere, where you're alone with that psycho" Teuvo tells you

"I need to go home, Teuvo"

"Just stay the night, please. I'll take you home to grab your things in the morning, okay?"

You look over at Teuvo as he gives you puppy
dog eyes.

"Fine"

He giving you an ear to ear smile. You lay back down and curl up into his side and fall asleep.
