Why is this chapter called Blood Type? Is Edward hungering for a certain type? This whole book is unsettling to me.

Edward invites Bella to sit with him at lunch. She stares at him and can't believe someone so beautiful can be real.

Page 87 contained a couple of lines humorous enough that I almost smiled. Points added. Points taken away when Edward scares me again in the next line.

Edward literally SCARES me, y'all. If this guy was at my school and I was Bella, I'd been booking it out of state and changing my social security number.

Bella and Edward jokes that the friends she normally sits with will miss her, and Edward plunks down the line, "I may not give you back." Because that's not controlling or anything.

They argue for six pages and I'm bored as crap. Edward tells Bella that every time he ignores her or is hostile to her, it's for her own good. I'm sorry, I'm not really an angry person, but what the hell kind of sadistic $&@! is this?

In science class, they have to find out their blood type. Bella almost faints at a drop of blood because of course she does.

Edward literally CARRIES her in his arms to the nurse while Bella demands to be put down the whole way.

Later he drags her around while she still demands to be let go. This is the biggest piece of reverse-feminism I have ever read in my life.

Then he suggestively asks if Bella's mom would be okay if she got a scary boyfriend.

This is the first chapter that really annoyed me.
