3rd POV

It was a beautiful day in Ninjago City, after the Crystal Invasion, and the city has been at peace ever since. A boy named Y/n Garmadon was seen getting groceries before heading home.

(Y/n Garmadon)

Y/n: Man, it feels like forever since the Crystal Invasion. I wonder what awaits my friends and I.

Y/n arrived at the Monastery of Spinjitzu which was rebuilt after it was destroyed but the Council of the Crystal King. He placed the groceries and decided to ask his friends if they wanted to spar.

Y/n: Hey guys, wanna spar?

(Kai Smith)

Kai: Wait? YOU want to spar? Am I dreaming?

(Nya Smith)

Nya: *Smacks her brother's head* Hey, Y/n and I can tell whenever we're slacking off. So I guess this could be a great to be ready.

(Jay Walker)

Jay: But for what? The Council of the Crystal King is arrested besides Harumi who is staying with us.

(Cole Brookstone)

Cole: Well, I don't know about you guys, But I say we spar for a bit. Besides, it would be a great way to see if we've gotten rusty.

(Zane Julien)

Zane: I agree. Ever since our elemental powers returned, we have been slacking off.

Y/n: Nice to see all you're on board. Let's go to the courtyard.

The team listened to their leader's words and went outside before Y/n turned to face his team.

Y/n: All right. I want all of you to try and land a hit on me.

The Ninja: WHAT?!

Kai: We can't do that, Y/n. You're way stronger than us!

Y/n: *Mocking tone* What's wrong? Are you scared that I might use my Oni powers on you?

Jay: Um, YES!! We don't know if we can survive that!

Y/n: Don't worry! Father taught me how to control my Oni powers *Mutters* even though I refused *Outloud* so that in case I wanted to use them, I would already know how to maintain control myself.

Zane: Y/n is telling the truth. He wouldn't harm us.

Kai: Alright, I guess that's fair. Just...don't cry when you lose, kid.

Y/n: *Flips his mask over* Ninja--GO!

Y/n goes in for the attack as his friends jump out of the way and they get into a fighting stance, Y/n turns around and fires a few green energy blasts at his team.

Jay: *Gif below* Eat this!

Y/n dodges the attack as he lands before doing spinjitzu.

Y/n: Is that all? C'mon, keep up!

The green ninja managed to land a few hits on his team but they weren't ready to give up yet. They started to use their elemental powers in an attempt to slow Y/n down which worked.

Cole: NOW!

Y/n: Not so fast!

Y/n dodged out of the way before purple energy appeared in his hand.

Y/n: *Image below* (This may hurt but it's worth it!)

He fired a few at his teammates but amidst the battle, they used their powers to black his attacks creating dust.

Kai: Wow, that was actually impressive Y/n.

Jay: Yeah, guess you weren't slacking off in training.

Silence.

Nya: Y/n? Are you there?

Cole: Y/n, this isn't funny.

The master of earth used spinjitzu to clear the dust but Y/n wasn't there almost as if any trace of him has vanished.

Jay: MASTER WU IS GONNA KILL US!!

Elsewhere

Y/n was standing on some kind of void out in the middle of nowhere as he was dumbfounded.

Y/n: Ok Y/n, what did you do? Uhh, used a bit too much of your Oni powers and probably destroyed reality.

But then, it begins to crack and shatter bringing the green ninja back to reality as he stands on pavement tiles and realizes that his friends are missing.

Y/n: (Wait, these aren't the monastery pavements. Where am I?

Y/n then looks around to see other teenagers around his age.

???: What happened?

??? 2: This is really weird right now.

??? 3: This isn't Remnant.

??? 4: Oh, I was so close to beating that level! CURSE YOU AUTHOR!

??? 5: Monkey King? Where are you?

??? 6: I don't know what just happened.

As for Y/n, he was dumbfounded right now by what was happening.

Y/n: What the heck is going on?!
