Nadakhan was a powerful djinn who always liked to manipulate people's wishes.  He manipulated wishes when he fought Captain Soto's crew.   He claimed to be "helping" the poor unfortunate souls when, in reality, he wasn't.

He used that same trick against the ninja when he faced them.  He worked on separating them to be able to convice them to wish for anything they wanted.  The main roadblock he hit was after convinving the blue ninja to make his first two wishes.  He managed to convince him at first that his wishes would "help" him to get the girl, but after that, the blue ninja was stubborn enough not to use his last wish.  No matter what Nadakhan would do to him, he wouldn't make his last wish.  He didn't make his last wish until his lover died, but that wish would trap Nadakhan back in his teapot.

Nadakhan now awaits the day when he'll be let out and can "help" the next poor unfortunate souls (and get his revenge).
