Zane felt like he never really fit in with the other ninja.  He was a nindroid and the others were not.  He never really got their jokes.  He never knew when they were being sarcastic.  He just always felt so alone on the team.

After he and the team were invited to Borg Tower with the kids they were teaching, he met someone who he felt he could finally relate to.  PIXAL was an android that Cyrus Borg created and was able to help Zane learn more about himself.  Zane kept thinking: 'I wanna know about these strangers like me.'  PIXAL was the first person that he really connected with and he really enjoyed being around her.  She made him feel less lonely.
