In a place known as Green Hills, there was a distant explosion and a blue blur was seen heading towards it before passing a big purple cat.

Sonic: Sorry, Big! Sorry, Froggy! Can't chat--gotta go help our friends!

Big: No problem, Sonic!

Froggy: Ribbit!

Sonic: *Narrating* Home is where your friends are, as they say, and that's Green Hill, where the best beaches, palm trees, and chili dogs are just the tip of the iceberg. We've saved this place a million times from this dofus.

The camera then changed to a man with a weird mustache laughing evilly.

Sonic: And then there's Shadow.

The camera changed once more to show a black hedgehog with red stripes.

Sonic: It's complicated. More on him later. The fact is, we never lose

Sonic passes by a destroyed by a mountain and runs up said mountain with a clear goal in mind.

Sonic: 'Cause when you've got a crew like mine, there's nothing that can stop you!

Sonic reaches the top and sees destroyed robots and a cave opening before going inside calling out to his friends.

Sonic: Hey, guys! I made it!

Everyone: You're late!

Dr. Eggman: Sonic!

Sonic: Eggman!

The mad doctor was seen next to a strange gem that was pulsing almost like it was alive.

Dr. Eggman: Just in time to watch me claim the Paradox Prism and transform your disgustingly green world into something more... me. *Nefarious laughter*

Sonic: Yawn! Yep, I "yawned" you, Eggman.

Dr. Eggman: *Growls* Crush them all!

Sonic's friends and Eggman's robots charge at each other. Sonic and his friends destroy the robots one by one before Sonic gets surprise attacked causing him to be sent flying before being caught by Tails.

Sonic: Yo, Tails!

Tails launches his friend at a robot and the blue hedgehog stands by Knuckles' side.

Sonic: Knuckles! You okay, buddy?

Knuckles: Nothing flustered me, Sonic...except when you're late.

Sonic puts his hand on his hip unaware of the robot sneaking up on him, before he can turn around Rouge knocks the robot away.

Sonic: Thanks, Rouge!

Rouge: Don't mention it. Literally.

Rouge flies off to keep fighting. Amy is smashing the robots with her hammer, a robot's head gets knocked off but Amy stops it letting the birds trapped inside fly free as Sonic goes to greet her.

Sonic: Amy!

Amy: Sonic! Where have you been?

Sonic: Got a little sidetracked.

Sonic immediately spin-dashes to attack three flying robots one of them is sent Amy's way and she smashes it with her hammer while Eggman is trying to obtain the Paradox Prism but the robots trying to mine it up and jolted back by the sheer power of the prism, seeing this, Eggman gets on his mech annoyed.

Eggman: Want something done, do it yourself.

Sonic is now next to Tails as the two-tailed fox is worried about what could happen if Eggman obtains the prism.

Tails: Sonic, we don't know what the Prism is capable of. Be careful.

Amy: If Eggman wants it, it can't be good.

Sonic: Got it!

Eggman grabs the Paradox Prism as sparks come appear and Sonic rushes toward the doctor, determined to stop him.

Sonic: Step away from the rock, Eggman.

Eggman: Not this time, you fool.

Eggman is getting closer to obtaining the prism as Sonic quickly thinks of a way to stop him and that is to attack the prism which his friends realize in horror that he's about to do.

Sonic's friends: Sonic, no!

But it was too late, the Prism shattered and time froze before the area turned black.

A/n: Sorry for the short prologue but I thought having the first few minutes of episode 1 of Sonic Prime would be a nice setup to the story. I hope you'll enjoy this new adventure.
