Hey guys! I know I said part 4 was supposed to be about the junior ninja's kids, however I think our junior ninja have a little growing up to do first. In this story, it takes place 4 years after the conclusion of part 3. If you haven't read the other 3 books, I suggest reading those first.

Also I would like to thank the winner of Cole and Seliel baby name contest for the submission of the winning name "Benjamin" sent in by SandNinjaGS. As a reward for winning, I would like promote his story, "Ninjago: Rise of Yether."

Description: "An old girlfriend of Geoff's asks for the Ninja's assistance to protect her and her unborn baby from a clan, desperate for her child to resurrect Yether, Ninjago's very first emperor and creator of the departed realm, though it."

Here is the link to the first chapter. (You might have to copy and paste due to how Wattpad does their links)

Kira's P.O.V.:

I was helping Zane with a project at his lab. We had been tracking an ancient scroll that could be dangerous if it fell into the wrong hands. The scroll of Airjitsu.

The museum hired us to track it down after it had been stolen. We finally located it somewhere on an uncharted island off the southern coast of Ninjago. We made a decision to send the kids after it.

One week later...

Ryder, Ashley and Ethan had packed their bags and were ready to go on the mission.

"Are you sure you have enough food and water?" I asked them.

"Yes Mom." All three of them said.

"Kira, it's ok. They're ready for this." Lloyd smiled.

"I know, but as their mother I have right to be worried." I said.

"We'll only be gone for two days." Ryder said. "We'll go to the island, find the scroll, learn airjitsu, and come back home."

"Just be careful ok?" I asked.

"We will." Ryder hugged me.

Ryder was twenty now, but he had dedicated his time to leading the junior ninja. He and Katie talked about settling down but they wanted to get their own lives together first.

Ashley was 16 and growing up so fast. She had started doing an internship at the hospital with me to learn how to be a good nurse.

Ethan was only 8 years old, but he was very mature for his age. After defeating the Overlord all those years ago, he was now in full control of his Oni powers, well for the most part. Sometimes if he gets too angry they can get out of control, but usually we can calm him down or distract him.

"Wait Ryder, we need to talk to you first." Lloyd said.

We pulled Ryder aside to talk to him.

"What's wrong?" Ryder asked.

"Well, we are fine with you and Ashley going on this mission, but your brother..." Lloyd started.

"What? I know he's younger than us but I promise I'll look out for him." Ryder said.

"We know you can, but his powers are very unstable at this age." I warned. "If he doesn't keep calm, his powers could corrupt him."

"Relax Mom, I've got plenty of tricks up my sleeve to keep Ethan calm or distracted at all times. And besides, he'll be with a whole team of junior ninja." Ryder begged. "Please?"

Lloyd and I looked at each other. We knew there was no way to get out of it. Plus we were looking forward to having the house all to ourselves for the first time since Ryder was born, so I was pretty sure Lloyd and I were on the same page.

"Ok, but you have to promise us that you'll keep him safe." Lloyd said.

"That means he has to be with you at all times." I added. "Don't let him out of your sight for one second."

"I promise." Ryder nodded.

We went back to the living room and gave the kids one last goodbye hug and sent them on their way. I was going to miss them so much, but I knew they could do this.

Nya's P.O.V.:

Jay and I were getting the kids ready to go on their mission. Lily, Jax and Matt were almost adults now. We were still raising Olivia, the child we adopted. She had just turned 4 years old and it was great to see her growing up.

Olivia was the daughter of the master of teleportation and she had started showing signs of powers, just like the twins did when they were that age. The only thing was, she was going to wonder where her powers came from and we hadn't told her she was adopted yet.

Jax, Lily and Matt arrived downstairs with their suitcases. I was trying so hard to keep it together for them but I couldn't help but cry.

"Mom it's only for two days." Lily rolled her eyes.

"I know but it's your first mission away from home. I just wanna make sure your prepared for it." I frowned.

"I know Nya, but they're adults now." Jay said.

"Yeah mom, we can handle ourselves." Jax said.

"Yeah, and Trent and I designed the perfect vehicle to take us there." Matt said.

"Are you sure you want to go with them Matt?" Jay said. "I mean I know field work isn't really your thing."

"It's ok, I'll be traveling with the junior ninja." Matt smiled. "I'm actually excited to be going."

"Alright, well good luck." Jay smiled.

"Aww man. Why can't I go on the mission?" Olivia pouted.

"Sorry sweetie, you're a bit too young for this one." I said.

"But your mom and I will stay here with you and we're gonna make these two days extra fun." Jay said.

"Ok." Olivia sighed.

We all gave them one more hug and sent them on their way. I hoped they would come back in one piece.

Zane's P.O.V.:

I was with Pixal and Cass, getting ready to send Alex off to his mission. We knew it was only for two days, but this was the first time he was going off on his own so far away from home. We were going to miss him so much, but another part of us were really proud of him.

"Be careful out there Alex." Cass said to him.

"I will Cass." Alex said. "I wish you could come with us."

"Me as well, but my father wants me to help him with a new project." Cass sighed. "He said it was urgent."

"Ok, well I will miss you." Alex frowned.

"I will miss you too. I love you." Cass said.

"I love you too." Alex kissed her. Then he turned to us. "Goodbye mom and dad."

"Goodbye son." I hugged him.

"Take care of yourself." Pixal smiled.

"I will." Alex hugged her.

He gave us one last hug and gave Cass one last kiss and walked out the door. We were hoping they were going to be alright, but I had a bad feeling.

Amber's P.O.V.:

I was packing for our mission and needed to put one final item in my backpack, the yin-yang medallion I had picked out for Allison and I. I was super nervous about going on this mission. Not because of the difficulty, but because of Allison. I was planning on asking her to be my yang. I knew she would say yes, but I didn't know if I could get up the courage to do it. I was worried that I never would.

"Amber?"

I screamed and dropped the medallion in the floor. I turned around and saw Blake standing in the door.

"Blake! How many times do I have to tell you to knock before entering?" I yelled.

"Sorry, I just wanted to see if you were ready to go." He said.

"Oh, yeah just give me one second."

"Ok." Blake left, but then he came back. "Oh, and if you and Allison move in together can I have your room?"

"Out!" I yelled.

Blake left for real and I put the medallion in my backpack. I packed up the rest of my things and went downstairs where my dad grabbed me and gave me the tightest hug. I could hardly breath.

"Dad... can't... breath..." I struggled.

"Kai, don't squeeze the life out of her." My mother laughed.

"Oh, sorry princess." He released his grip. "I'm just so happy for you."

"I knew I shouldn't have told you guys about it." I sighed.

"We're sorry for embarrassing you but we're just so excited." My mother laughed.

"I don't see what the big deal is." I said.

"Asking someone to be your yang is a huge deal." My dad said. "The answer to that one little question can change both your lives forever."

"I mean we've known each other since we were six, there's no way she won't say yes... right?" I asked.

"Amber sweetie, don't think too hard about it. Ok?" My mother tried to calm me down. "I'm sure whatever she says will be the right answer."

"She's the love of my life, I can't stand the thought of her saying no." I frowned. "I don't know, maybe I shouldn't do this."

"Part of the reason you guys are going on this adventure is to strengthen the bonds of your team and overcome your fears." My mother said.

"Yeah, so?" I sighed.

"So this is a chance to strengthen the bond between you and Allison by asking her to be your yang." My mother smiled.

"But what happens if she says no?" I worried.

"You won't know unless you ask. Right Skylor?" My dad winked.

"Well in my case I had to say yes." She laughed.

"Ok well I have to go. Thanks for the pep talk." I said awkwardly stepping away.

I ran back upstairs and finished packing my things. Then I went back downstairs, said goodbye to my parents, and drove my brothers to pick up Allison. I hoped I could pull this off.

Cole's P.O.V.:

Seliel and I were with the twins and Allison, who was ready to go for her mission. CJ and Ben were upset because they didn't get to go. They were almost completely identical, both with black hair and green eyes. Only CJ's bangs flopped to the left and Ben's flopped to the right.

"Come on Dad we can do it!" CJ complained.

"Yeah we're strong like you!" Ben showed off his muscles.

"I know you're strong, but you're just too young for a mission like this. Sorry boys." I apologized.

"Aww man." They both frowned.

"Good luck All-Star." Seliel hugged Allison.

"Bye Mom. I love you." Allison hugged her.

"Don't I get a hug too cupcake?" I held my arms out.

"Of course Dad." She laughed and hugged me.

"What about us?" CJ looked up at her.

"Yeah Alli, what about us?" Ben used his puppy dog eyes.

"Come here you two." Allison pulled them both into a hug and rubbed their heads. That always got the boys to laugh.

"Do you want a ride to the harbor cupcake?" I asked.

"No thanks, Amber is picking me up." She said.

"How are things going with her?" Seliel asked.

"Pretty great actually." She blushed.

Amber and Allison had been dating for quite a while, and just the other week, Amber asked our permission to ask Allison to be her yang. We were so excited, but we had to keep it a secret. It was so hard to keep something like that from her, but we didn't want to ruin the surprise.

We heard honking coming from outside.

"That's her, gotta go." Allison said.

She gave us one more hug and ran out to the car. Our little girl was growing up so fast.

Ryder's P.O.V.:

I met the rest of my team at the harbor. Matt and Trent were ready to unveil the new vehicle they had been working on.

"We are happy to present to you, the Destiny's Mini." Matt said.

He pulled the sheet off the vehicle and revealed a medium size boat with a cabin area underneath. It was really nice and we all climbed aboard.

"Alex, set a course for the uncharted island." I told him.

"Setting course captain." He said in a pirate voice.

"Um why are talking like that?" Blake asked.

"What? I can't get into the spirit of adventure matey?" Alex shrugged.

"Nothing wrong with that, let's get going." I said.

We sailed off into the sea ready for our mission.

Zera's P.O.V.:

I was hiding in the forest watching the junior ninja take off on their journey. They were going after the scroll of airjitsu, but we wanted to get to it first. Me, Seth, Marcus and Lena stole a boat from a fisherman and followed them. Those junior ninja won't know what hit them.

To be continued...
