Narrator's P.O.V.:

Olivia was about to scream, but Jett covered her mouth.

"Don't scream unless you make this worse." He said holding a sword to her neck.

"Y-You're my birth father?" Olivia asked nervously.

He teleported in front of her and she was impressed.

"In the flesh." He said.

"Wow!" Olivia said impressed.

"We have the same powers, and if you come with me, I can teach you how to you use them."

"Really?" She looked at him. "You can teach me?"

"Yes, and all you have to do is take my hand." Jett smiled.

Olivia was thinking about his offer. If he could teach her how to use her powers now, she could use it to teleport to the island and save her siblings and her friends. But from what she just heard from her parents, her father had done bad things, horrible things. Did she really want to take that risk?

"Well? Time is waisting." Her father held out her hand.

Olivia was about to reach for it, but then she backed away towards the living room.

"No!" She said. "I'm not foolish enough to fall your tricks."

"Fine, I tried doing this the easy way, but you leave me no choice."

Jett took out a sword and Olivia ran down the hallway towards the stairs. Jett teleported in front of her and she was able to slide under him between his feet and rolled down the stairs.

Lloyd's P.O.V.:

We all heard Olivia screaming in the other room and ran in to find her at the bottom of the stairs. Jay and Nya ran to her.

"Olivia!" Nya yelled and started looking her over for injuries.

"What happened pumpkin?" Jay asked.

"He... he's here." Olivia huffed. "He's after me."

"Who is?" Nya asked.

"My birth father." Olivia said.

Jay and Nya looked at each other. Kira looked at me panicked out of her mind.

"We need to get Olivia and Kira out of here, now." I said.

"It doesn't matter, wherever we go he's going to follow to us." Kira frowned. "The best thing to do is for him to take me instead before Olivia gets hurt."

"What? No!" I screamed.

"There's no other way." Kira frowned.

"Robert Jetson! You are under arrest!" Skylor screamed. "Show yourself with your hands up! Now!"

"Relax Officer." Jett appeared behind Skylor. "I'm simply here for what's mine."

"Arms up! Now!" Skylor yelled, grabbing her taser and pushing Olivia behind her.

"Ok ok, no need to get all cop on me." Jett put his hands up.

Skylor got out her handcuffs and tried to sneak around behind him, but he teleported to the other side of the room.

"Gotta be quicker then that I'm afraid." Jett laughed.

"Ok that's it, stop fooling around." I yelled. "What you did to my wife, my family, my friends. All so you could keep your powers and get revenge? Well I got news for you pal, that's not how powers work. And you are going to pay for what you did to her and my family if it's the last thing I do."

"And how do you expect to do that?" Jett laughed.

"Oh I'll show you!"

Just the thought of him being right here, in front of me and what he did to my wife and my baby it just made my blood boil. So much so that my Oni form came out.

I screamed and then went full Oni. I charged at him all around the room as he kept teleporting away from me. I shot two purple energy balls at him. One of them hit him in the leg but he teleported away before the second one could and it hit the wall instead.

I was so enraged and destroying everything in sight and couldn't stop myself. All of a sudden something grabbed my arms.

"Lloyd, breathe." My wife's voice said. "It's all ok, he's gone now."

I took a few deep breaths and looked into Kira's eyes. I turned back to normal and looked around. The place was completely trashed. Olivia was freaking out and Jay and Nya were comforting her. Cole and Kai were standing there with the fire extinguisher for the wall I almost burned, and Skylor and Zane were searching the house for any signs of where Jett went. I couldn't believe I caused all of this.

"Are you ok now?" Kira asked me.

"Yeah, I think so." I answered holding my head. "Did I cause all of this?"

"That doesn't matter, as long as you're ok." Kira said.

"I'm really sorry Kai, I'll pay to get it fixed I promise." I apologized.

"Don't worry about it. This isn't the first time this wall has caught on fire." Kai laughed. "You try training a fire master in such close quarters."

"Or an Earth master that liked to test her super strength on everything." Cole laughed. "Good times."

"Yeah plus you kept Olivia safe, and that's all we can ask for." Nya smiled.

"Do you think he'll be after me?" Olivia asked.

"Even if he is, we will do everything we can to keep you safe." Jay said hugging her.

"I've searched the whole house." Zane came from upstairs. "No sign of Jet."

"I had him. He was in my own home and I still couldn't catch him." Skylor frowned.

"Babe it's ok. You cracked the case." Kai said. "That counts for something right?"

"Yeah, but he's still out there. It's only a matter of time before he strikes again." She said.

"Lloyd hit him in the leg. That might give us a little time." Cole said.

"Not much though. He doesn't seem like someone who knows when to stay down." Kai said.

"Oh man, Oni power is no joke. Ashley got hit with Ethan's power once and it almost broke her arm." Kira said.

"Well after what he did to you, I'd say it was well deserved." I crossed my arms.

"Anyway, we need to find him before this gets any worse." Kira said.

"Now that I know what he looks like we can let the people of Ninjago know who to look for." Skylor said. "There won't be anywhere in the city he can go where someone won't recognize him."

"Good idea." I said.

"Lloyd, Kira, is there anything else I need to know before I tell the news station? Anything at all?" Skylor asked us.

Kira and I looked at each other. We didn't want to tell her about the baby, especially with all of our friends there, but we knew we had to. Kira gave me a nod and I nodded back.

"I was pregnant when it happened, but the baby didn't make it." Kira frowned.

"Oh Kira I'm so sorry." Skylor frowned. "I promise, I will not rest until this guy is behind bars."

"Thank you." Kira said giving her a hug.

"But Skylor, you won't tell that to the public, right?" I asked.

"It has to go into the police report, but I'll make sure that info is off the record to the public unless you want it to be." She said.

"Maybe one day, but not yet." Kira said.

"That's ok." Skylor nodded. "Thanks."

Skylor went into her office to call the news station. Kira sat down on the couch and almost cried. She always got like that when she thinks about the baby we never got to have. It upsets me too but Kira took it really hard. Nya sat down next to her and comforted her.

"I'm here if you need to talk." Nya said.

"Thanks Nya." Kira hugged her and smiled through her tears.

I'm glad Nya was there for my wife, but I still feel bad for everything she went through. I hated that my friends all knew about it, but at the same time it was kind of a relief not to be keeping secrets anymore.

I started getting a headache so I sat down next to her. Going Oni isn't easy and it takes a lot of energy out of me, especially with my broken ribs. They hurt even worse now.

"What do we do now?" Nya asked.

"Well, I'm going to call Seleil and check on the boys." Cole said. "They were at the hospital and since he's injured that's probably where he's going."

"Good idea." Zane nodded. "I better tell Pixal I am ok too."

Zane and Cole went to call their families. I looked over at Olivia who was still scared out of her mind. She was mostly looking at me.

"Olivia, I'm sorry if I scared you." I apologized. "I was just trying to make sure that guy couldn't hurt you and I guess I took it a little too far. Are you ok?"

"Yeah." Olivia nodded. She still looked a little shook up but she seemed better now. "Thanks uncle Lloyd."

"Olivia, did he say anything to you?" Kai asked her.

"He wanted to teach me how to use my power." Olivia said. "I said no, and he got mad. He tried to grab me but I got away."

"We should probably take Olivia somewhere safe." Nya said to Jay.

"Where? How do you hide from a master of teleportation?" Jay said getting frustrated.

"I don't know, but we have to figure out something." Kai said. "We cannot let him get away with this."

"And I won't. Not again." Skylor said.

"We're going to need more help." I said. "And I know where we can get some..."

We all took our cars and headed back out to the treehouse. There we met up with my dad and they met the backup junior ninja team. They all introduced themselves and then I explained our situation and everything we knew about Jett to them.

"So you want us to help you catch a teleportation master that's trying to take his power back from his daughter?" Maizy asked.

"Yes." I said. "With your team working together, I think you'll be able to do it."

"Lloyd, these are children." Kira said. "Do you really think this is a good idea?"

"Well I don't see you coming up any ideas." I griped.

"It's better than putting them in danger like you did with all the kids when you told them to stay on that island."

"I was only doing that to protect them!"

"Guys, guys, can we please just stay focused?" My dad said, splitting us apart from each other.

"Yeah, you two have been fighting a lot lately." Cole said.

"Are you sure you two aren't getting a divorce?" Jazmine asked.

"We're not getting divorced!" Kira and I yelled at the same time.

"At least they agree on that one." I heard Oliver whisper to Trip.

"Anyway, are you up to help us or not?" Kai asked.

"If it's going to help get Ryder and the others back, we're in." Katie said.

"Ok, but be careful. This guy not only has the power of teleportation, but since he stole that device from Cyrus Borg, he can also turn invisible." Zane said.

"We will use caution." Cass promised.

"I appreciate that you guys are trying to help, but are you sure you're up for this?" Kira asked. "I'd hate for you guys to get hurt."

"Absolutely." Jazmine said. "I'll ask my dad about it. He does seems to know everyone."

"Yeah, and I can sense if he's nearby." Trip said using his mind powers.

"And I can sense if any nature has been disturbed by his actions and track where he's going." Oliver said.

"And when we do find him, I'm fast enough to catch him." Katie gloated.

"And he won't be able to teleport out of my forcefield." Maizy said.

"Or hide himself from my thermal vision." Cass said.

"See Kira, I told you they were capable of doing this." I said.

"Well, when you put it like that I guess I can't argue." Kira said.

"Can I stay and help them too?" Olivia looked at Jay and Nya.

"Sorry pumpkin, it's too dangerous." Nya said.

"Yeah Olivia, you're the one he's after. If he gets you, it's game over." Jay explained.

"Ok." She frowned.

"Well it seems like they got a handle on this." Cole shrugged.

"You guys can go home, I'm going to stay here and help them answer some questions about the case." Skylor said.

"Be careful ok?" Kai said to her.

"I will." Skylor kissed his cheek.

"Should I stay back as well or..." I looked at Kira.

The entire room focused their attention on Kira and I, waiting on her answer. She took a deep breath, grabbed my hand and pulled me into a hug. I took that as a sign and smiled.

"I missed you." I said embracing her.

"I missed you too." Kira said with tears in her eyes.

We all went home together back to our own houses. My dad, Kira and I went back to the apartment because we still didn't feel it was safe to go back to the monastery. I explained everything about what happened to my dad and Wu.

"You went full Oni?" Wu said.

"I don't know, just seeing him again, thinking about everything he did to us, it brought it all out in me." I frowned.

"Well the important thing is no one got hurt." My dad said.

"Wait, Lloyd, do you remember how you and master Wu communicated while he was in the realm of madness?" Kira said.

"Yeah." I nodded.

"Well wouldn't you be able to do that with our kids?"

"I could, but the process takes years to master on both sides." I explained. "Even if they did know how to do it, I never told them about that."

"Well isn't it worth a try?" Wu asked.

"I guess I could try it but if it doesn't work..."

"Just do your best ok?" Kira said.

"Ok, I'll try." I nodded.

I laid down on my couch and meditated to sleep and tried to contact Ryder. I didn't know if this was going to work to not, but like Wu said, it was worth a try...

*back on the island...*

Ryder's P.O.V.:

I was with my friends in the yurt riding out a small rain storm. Most of them had fallen asleep, but I was worried about my parents back home. I've been worried about them ever since I read that letter.

All of a sudden my head starting pounding. I thought it was related to my Oni outburst earlier, but this was something different. I then decided to fall asleep and I entered of a dream of some kind...

"Ryder!" I heard a familiar voice.

I looked around and I didn't see anyone.

"Ryder! Ryder! Can you hear me?" The voice said again.

"Yes. Where are you? Who are you?" I asked.

All of a sudden an apparition of my dad appeared in front of me.

"I don't understand. Is this a dream?" I asked.

"Kind of, but I am really here." He said.

"Really? I have so many questions. Is Mom ok? Did you catch him yet? Has Katie asked about me?"

"Calm down bud, I'll tell you everything. But first I need to know. Did everyone make it?"

"Yes, we're all on the island. The ship crashed because the VKA shot us down."

"The VKA is on the island too?"

"Yes, we have the scroll of airjitsu but we can't access it yet. Alex is working on that."

"So everyone is ok?"

"For the most part. Blake dislocated his shoulder during the shipwreck and Allison got a cut in her side due to a cave in, but thanks to Ashley their both doing fine."

"That's a relief. How are you doing?"

"To be honest, this leader stuff is hard." I frowned. "We're running out of supplies and food and everyone is looking to me for what to do and I don't know how to help." I frowned.

"Just trust your instincts and you'll figure it out." He said.

"I'm trying but it's hard not knowing what's going on there." I said.

"Everything here is going fine. Your mom has a bit of recovering to do but everything is going well and she'll be ok. Plus the back up junior ninja team is going to help us get this guy."

"You met them?"

"Yes, and it's a very good team. That was a great idea to make one." He said. "And Katie misses you very much."

I blushed thinking about her.

"Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that you're doing great and you are perfectly capable of getting off that island by yourself. I should've never sent that secret letter to you. I'm so sorry I put all that pressure on you."

"It's ok Dad." I smiled. "Thanks."

"I'm so proud of the leader you've become." He smiled. "And tell Ethan and Ashley that we miss them."

"Will do. Thanks Dad." I smiled.

I was about to run up and give him a hug, but then I woke up from the dreamscape...

I woke up and caught my breath. I had no idea what just happened. Was that a dream? A vision? A message? Whatever it was, it was definitely real and I was happy to say that I had a lot more answers than questions.
