No Ones POV

As the group followed Kai and Nya to there old get-away home, the night was slowly closing in. They weren't even half way there yet when they entered a forest. Everyone was tired from walking and looked exhausted.

"Maybe we should make camp here?" Cole suggested, shivering in the cold.

"That's a good idea" Lloyd agreed, setting his green rucksack on the ground.

"But were not even half way there yet! If we stop now, it'll take even longer to get there" Nya complained.

"Look Nya, everyone is cold and tired from walking, we need to stop for the night" Kai said, placing a hand on Nya's shoulder.

Nya looked around, examining everyone, they all shivered and looked ready to fall asleep.

"Ok, but we start again at first light" She said, sitting on a log.

"Ok, here's the plan to set up camp, Cole and Seliel, set up food-" Lloyd started but was interrupted by Jay.

"DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT LET COLE COOK!" Jay shouted pointing at Cole.

"Why?" Asked Skylor

"Last time I ate his food, I was sick for a week, and the time before that, I couldn't talk for a week" Jay said shivering at the memory.

"Okay fine, Me, Trini, Jay and Nya, will prepare the food, while Kai and Skylor go get fire wood, Cole and Seliel, set up the sleeping area and Zane and Pixal, can you plan the walking route for tomorrow" Lloyd said talking a seat next to Trini.

Everyone nodded in agreement and split up to fulfil there tasks.

~~With Cole and Seliel~~

"How come none of us thought to bring a tent?" Seliel asked Cole.

"I don't know, i always thought it was one of the most important things when camping" Cole shrugged.

"Well I guess that means we'll be sleeping under the stars" She said smiling.

"Yeah, I guess we will" he said, looking up at her from just laying out a sleeping bag.

There was just something that connected them, when they looked at each other butterflies would spout from inside there stomachs.

"Hey, don't you have something you want to ask me?" Seliel asked. She was confident that Cole was talking about her when he said he had his eyes on someone to ask to the dance.

Cole looked at her confused for a second, but then realised she was talking about the dance. He decided to tease her and pretend not to know what she talking about.

"Oh yeah!" He said and turned to face her, she looked really hopeful, this was it, she thought,"Do you have a spare toothbrush, I kinda forgot mine"

Her face immediately dropped.

"Oh, no sorry" She said quietly and turned away from him so he wouldn't see her tears.

Cole stood up after just finishing placing a sleeping bag on a roll mat. He walked over to Seliel and stood in front of her. He took both her hands and looked deep into her eyes. . Her eyes are so beautiful, he thought.

"Seliel...." he whispered before bending down and placing a soft kiss on her lips. Her first kiss. "Will you go to the dance with me?"

A smile plagued her face as she became overjoyed.

"Of course" She said and stood on her tiptoes and touched her lips to his again.

She hugged him and he hugged her back. Then they started to slow dance around in circles until they were rudely interrupted.

"Awwww, that's so cute!" Jay said, which received a slap on the shoulder by Nya.

"Sshhhhh! They'll hear you" She whispered and looked back at the dancing pair. She gulped when she saw that both Cole and Seliel giving them the death stare.

"I think we'd better run" Jay said grabbing Nya's hand and running back towards Lloyd and Trini.

Cole and Seliel sighed. The moment had passed so they decided to go back to setting up the sleeping bags.

~~With Jay and Nya~~

"Good thing you didn't order Cole to cook" Jay said to Lloyd. "Other wise all of us would be too sick to save Ninjago"

"I didn't order anyone to do anything, I asked them politely" Lloyd grumbled.

"I would of said ordered" Trini laughed.

Lloyd groaned, he wanted to be alone for a second, just so he could ask Trini a question, regarding the dance. He wasn't going to ask her to go with necessarily, even though he really wanted to. But he was positive she didn't like him. Nether the less, he still wanted to ask her something.

An idea popped into his head to get Jay and Nya away for a minute or two.

"Jay, can you and Nya go collect the extra food from my bag, it should be over by Cole and Seliel" Lloyd said pointing over to his bag.

"Okay" Jay chirped and walked over to Lloyds bag, followed by Nya. When they reached it Jay suddenly became very nervous, he knew this would be the only time where he could ask Nya to go to the dance with him, where it was private.

"Hey Nya" He said, trying to lean on a low hanging branch to look cool, but ended up slipping and falling flat on his face.

"Jay! Oh my god, are you okay?" Nay asked worriedly. She bend down and sat cross legged in front of him. He was lying on his back, looking up at the stars, trying to find a way to make this 'accident' into something that was intentional. Suddenly an idea popped into his head.

"Hey Nya, do you know what star constellation that is" He may not be good at most things, but when your working on inventions day and night, you tend to look up at the stars a lot.

"No, what is it" she said lying down next to him and intertwining her fingers with his. Both of them were not sure if they were a couple or not, but for now, things were fine.

"It's called the Cassiopeia" He said pointing up at five stars shaped as a 'W'. "And that's Arian" He continued to point at stars constellations and name them. Nya listened with great interest, she always loved stars, but never new what any of them were called.

They lay there for a few moments before Nya broke the silence.

"Jay? What if we don't defeat the over lord? What if we die and let everybody down?" Nya asked quietly, smuggling closer to Jay.

"Your not going to die and nothing is going to happen to you, I'll make sure of that, and I know for a fact that together we can defeat him, you, and me" He smiled down on her "and the others of course but mostly you and me" he winked.

"Your funny" She whispered.

"Yeah....Hey Nya...... umm..... what would you say if I asked you to go to the dance with me?" Jay asked quickly. Too quickly he thought to himself.

"I thought you'd never ask, but yes, that would be great" She looked up at him, or rather passed him. "Hey, look" She pointed behind Jay and at Cole and Seliel. Cole had just taken Seliel hands and said something, before kissing her.

They both stood up and snuck over to where they were now slow dancing.

"Awwww, that's so cute!" Jay said a bit too loudly.

"Sshhhhh! They'll hear you" Nya whispered and looked back at the dancing pair. She gulped when she saw that both Cole and Seliel giving them the death stare.

"I think we'd better run" Jay said grabbing Nya's hand and running back towards Lloyd and Trini.

"They might want to kill us now for ruining their moment" Jay panted.

"True, Oh well" Nya panted back.

~~With Lloyd and Trini~~

"Soooo, have you heard of the school dance coming up soon?" Lloyd asked awkwardly.

"Why, are you gonna ask me to go with you?" Trini raised an eyebrow at him.

"NO! I mean no, I hate that stuff, dancing, king and queen, horrible fruit punch, it's not for me" Lloyd said, covering up the fact that he actually loves that sort of thing, but no way would Trini go with him, right?

"Oh" She said looking sad "I was actually thinking of attending this dance, I guess I can go solo"

"Ummmm..... i err- i um..." Lloyd stumbled, trying to get the words will you go with me? Out of his mouth, but ended up saying: "What about Pixal, Seliel, Skylor, and Nya? Can't you go with them?"

"Nah, they'll have dates, I mean Jay and Nya are perfect for each other and I sure he's asking her right now, Cole is obviously gonna ask Seliel, i mean have you seen the way they look at each other? And Pixel and Zane where, legit, MADE for each other and if Kai man's up enough, I'm sure he'll ask Skylor. So looks like I'm going solo" Trini sighed "So, if you had to go with someone, who would it be?"

Lloyd thought for a moment, on the one hand he could tell her his true feelings and risk humiliation, or he could play it safe and keep his feelings in the dark.

"Well I don't know, I've never really thought about it much." 

That's a good answer, he thought it doesn't reveal much, but it leaves her clueless all the same

"Who would you ask?" He asked curiously.

"Well, there is this one guy, he's really nice, but I've only known him for a few days" She said, starting a fire with two bits of wood. Lloyd immediately felt jealously cloud his judgment.

"Oh, is he from our school?" He asked spitefully.

"Yes"

"Does he like you back?"

"I'm pretty sure he does, even though he won't admit it" she smiled up at him.

Something clicked in Lloyd, was she talking about him? I'm pretty sure she was. But what if she wasn't? No she is, she hasn't gone to school recently, and she said she's only known him for a few days, it was him!

"Has he asked you to the dance yet?" Lloyd asked, looking at his hands.

"No, but I'm sure he's going to, any second" She replied, not taking her eyes off the blazing fire.

That was his cue, she had pretty much asked him to ask her to the dance.

Here goes nothing he thought.

"Trini, would y-you go t-to the dance with ummmm....... me?"

"I'd love to" she answered smiling at him.

The sound of running feet caught there attention. They both saw a very scared looking Nya and Jay sprinting towards them.

"They might want to kill us now for ruining their moment" Jay panted.

"True, Oh well" Nya panted back.

"What did you guys do?" Lloyd asked.

"Oh.... star gazing" Nya said leaning her head on Jays shoulder.

~~With Zane and Pixal~~

"I suggest that we take the north trail leading to Jamonikai Village, from there we can re-assess the situation and conclude to our final destination." Pixal said, leaning over the map on a tree stump.

"I concur, but what is we walk the south path to Jamonikai Village? It may be longer but we can re-hydrate by the river and shelter ourselves from the suns UV rays, which will limit the result of superficient sun burns." Zane said, also looking at the map.

"So it's either shelter from sun, but longer to walk or no shelter, but shorter to walk" Pixal said deep in thought. She ran every option through her database and came out with these two routes.

"Maybe we should ask what Lloyd thinks" Zane said, also running every option through his database, and also coming up with the same two routes.

"Good idea, but first....." Pixal trailed off, but she felt a confidence burst surging through her wires. "But first, you know that dance? The one two weeks from now?" Zane nodded, he knew where she was going with this, but getting the words out must of been difficult for her. She had only had a few months with the latest dating update and still finding it hard to adjust to the concept of love. Him on the other side has had the update for years.

He could see her eyes twitching and her brain trying to process the dating code in order to ask him the question. He could tell she was finding it hard, so he did it for her.

"Pixal, would you go to the dance with me?"

Pixal's processor immediately stopped trying to read the dating code, and it all started to come naturally to her. She nodded happily and through herself into Zane's outstretched arms.

They stayed in each other's embrace for a few minutes before the bushes besides them started to shake and move. Cole and Seliel saw the shaking bush and went to stand besides Zane and Pixal.

"What do you think it is?" Seliel asked, a worried expression plastered on her face.

"I don't know" Zane answered.

As the figures emerged, Zane, Pixal, Coke and Seliel immediately dropped there ready stances and sighed in relief.

Kai and Skylor came out of the bush, twigs and leaves were sticking out of there hair and their clothes were ripped. Skylor's ponytail was let loose and her hair was blowing in her face. They refused to look at each other and guilty looks arose across their faces.

"What have you two been doing in the bushes?" Jay said, coming over to the group, followed by Lloyd, Trini and Nya.

"Nothing!" They both shouted really quickly, still refusing to look at each other.

"Well, where's the fire wood?" Lloyd asked, putting his hands on his hips and smirking at them.

"Ummm, we couldn't find any wood?" Kai said, more like a question than a statement.

"Were in a forest, were surrounded by trees, which some people would call wood" Cole said raising an eyebrow at Kai.

"You know what? I'm actually really tired, I'm gonna go get some sleep, 'night guys!" Skylor said and headed over to her sleeping bag.

"Yeah me to, see ya in the morning" Kai said, going over to his sleeping bag.

"Well without wood, we can't make a fire, and without a fire we can make dinner." Lloyd groaned "So.... who wants to go get some more Fire wood?"

Everyone looked at the surrounding environment. It had gotten really dark and there were lots of strange noises coming from all around.

They all started making up excuses of why they couldn't go. All of them saying they were tired and weren't really hungry and made there way over to there sleeping bags, leaving Lloyd standing there alone in the dark.

"Well i'm not going!" He said to himself and walked over to his designated sleeping bag. Once inside, he and all the rest of them fell asleep, for a long days journey to The Old Monastery awaits.

So, what have Kai and Skylor been up to? You'll have to wait till next chapter to find out!!

Also my concussion has finally warn off and now I'm ready to start writing chapters. I've already written two today, and hopefully there will be more regularly.
