Jays POV

"I can't believe you punched a hole in the wall, Nya. I mean who does that!?!"

"I do apparently." She scoffed as we were walking hand in hand down to a park nearby the coffee shop.

I noticed her mood changed ever since we left the café, she's usually very bubbly and genuine person. Right now she's upset and negative about herself, and she really shouldn't be. Didn't realize people on her own cheer team had a dislike to Nya.

I kept glancing at her left hand, which still held all the blisters from the coffee incident. I'm pretty sure she numbed away the pain after she punch the bathroom wall in the café, though I still want her to treat it.

Luckily is was starting to get dark, so no one was really at the park which was perfect for Nya and I to have a small dinner date. I might've- just slightly- called my mom and had her plan the date... I knew everything about it- I-it's just that I didn't have time and I wanted to make Nya feel better, so I made arrangements with her.

The latest response I've gotten from my mother was, 'You better not mess this up, I want some grandkids one day mister!'

Great to know that my parents approve, "Jay." I heard my name.

I looked down to see my girlfriend's beautiful ocean eyes, curiosity flowing through them like waves on the ocean current. I smiled, placing a kiss on her forehead, "We're almost there, love."

"What is 'there', anyways?" She questioned, "You haven't told me what this date is yet, and I am becoming slightly impatient."

I chuckled at her little pouty face, "Patience, young one, all will be revealed soon enough." I took her in an alien accent, a little specific to a curtain alien.

"Jay, did you just do-"

"A Master Goda impression, well of course!" I exclaimed.

"You're such a nerd." Nya giggled, not noticing the picnic display my mother set up at a nearby picnic table. It had a brown woven basket filled with all the food I had requested, wrapped in a lilac colored bow, Ma just had to add her own little touch doesn't she.

It seems that Nya had notice I was distracted by the picnic table because when she looked at it she gasped. Both of her hands held my face, turning my attention back to her, "D-Did you- what did you- how?"

I placed my hands on top of hers and grinned, "That's a Jay Walker secret." He joked.

Nya rolled her eyes, "As much as I care about you, you'll never defeat Zane's 'classified' line." She teased, sticking out her tongue at me.

I couldn't even find an excuse to use for that. Zane's 'information is classified' is truly undefeatable. I walked my girlfriend over to the table, allowing her to take a seat wherever she chooses. I sat at the opposite side of the table, taking out all the food from the basket his mother packed.

"Chicken Noodle Soup? Jay, how did you know?" She inquired, taking another spoonful of the bowl of deliciousness.

"Might've had Kai help me a little," I confessed to her, "I wanted our first official date to be perfect."

"It already is perfect." She told me, reaching her hand over to mine to hold it.

My smile faded when I look at her left hand, it looked like she saw it too, "Jay it's fine-"

"I can't believe those mean cheerleader."

"Jay, I only have to deal with it for a couple more months-"

"They have no right to do that to you."

"I'm surprised they waited this long."

With my free hand, I rubbed the bridge of my nose, "I know, b-but you shouldn't have to deal with it. You have so much to deal with, they only add to the list."

Nya gazed at me sternly, "Jay, I can handle myself." she reminded me.

"I know you can, but I tend to worry."

Her eyes soften, "You're my boyfriend, I would be a little concern if you weren't worried at times. But I also want to reassure you that I can take care of myself. I'm not all damsel in distress like people think I am. Do you remember who raised me?" She joked lightly.

I chuckled and continued eating our dinner. Everything went amazing from there, we held hands, hugged, maybe a little make out session here and there. I sound like a middle school boy... not sure if that would be considered a compliment or not.

After our dinner, I walked her home, hand in hand. Luckily I knew what parts of the neighborhood to walk through thanks to a map Kai gave me before we left the café. Nothing could ruin this day, absolutely nothing.

"So, are you ready for the College Algebra test?" Nya interrupted my thoughts.

"I mean I studied, but knowing Dr. Sanders, he'll probably put in material we haven't learned yet on the test."

"That only happened once."

"Only because he didn't tell us we had a quiz." I defended my argument.

"Besides who's worse? Sander's or Soto?" The raven questioned, a small smirk appeared on her cute little face.

I thought about it for a moment, "Well one of them lets us make out in the corner of the classroom, and the other keeps giving us lectures about how we'll give each other cooties." I told her, her giggles were practically unstoppable.

"Soto only does that to protect us, and Sander's had never let us make out in the corner of the classroom, it never even happened!"

"But it could." I winked and her as she playfully elbowed me in the ribs.

"Well look what we have here," My blood ran cold, "Dorkadoodle and Mrs. Dorkadoole."

I pulled Nya closer to me by her elbow as I turned around to see that monster that hurt her. His ghostly pale skin could be seen from a mile away, that green streak at the front of his hair never out of place, and that stupid leather jacket.

"What are you doing here, Morro?" Nya hissed at her ex.

The rebel teen shrugged his shoulders, "Hey, it's a free country, I can do whatever I want."

"Except be in twenty feet of my presence, according to the restraining order." Nya reminded him.

"You're a rapist and sex offender-"

"I haven't been convicted yet, so I'm innocent until proven guilty."

I really want to punch his stupid face, "You drugged my girlfriend, raped her, broke into her own apartment, and shot her brother. I don't see any innocence in your soul."

"She shouldn't have made me angry."

"Maybe you should learn how to control your anger." Nya growled.

"Maybe you should learn when to shut your mouth."

I blew a fuse, "That's it!" I ran over to him and tackled him on the ground. I heard Nya shouting at me to stop, but I won't let anyone and I mean anyone talk about her like that. I punched his face, watched the blood leave from his nose and mouth, to get just what he deserved.

He was trying to fight me back, but trying might be an understatement. He was punching me anywhere he could reach, my face, my chest, basically anything above my waist. At this point I'm pretty sure both of us is covered are covered in blood whether it was our own or not.

I felt someone try to pull me off of Morro, I thought I was Nya, but their hands were much bigger than Nya's. I was thrown off of the bastard, all the way back to where Nya was who went straight tp me to see the full damage.

"You better run before we get to cops involved again, Morro!" I heard a familiar voice yell. My vision was blurry, my hearing is foggy, and everything felt really dizzy.

"He started it!"

"Morro, go home! Mom and Dad are already mad at you, just stop!" Mom and Dad? Is that Lloyd?

"You can't tell me what to do! Besides I could always tell them about how you joined a downtown nerd club your junior year!"

"You were also apart of that!"

"Not the one for nerds!"

My eavesdropping was soon interrupted by a certain redhead, "Why is it that every time we meet you're always injured?" Skylor teased getting a giggle response from Nya.

"M-My luck." I murmured, getting lifted by the underarms.

"That's take you to the shop, it's closer than your apartment. And lets hope your parents don't kill you." Skylor explained, leading the way to the Noodle Factory.

Although my vison was still pretty blurry, my hearing became a lot better in hearing the conversation, "How did you guys find us?" I heard my girlfriend ask.

"Remember that phone tracker?"

"That explains it."

Sooo sorry it took almost five months to post this chapter... I really need to finish this book lol. I kind of want to rewrite some things in this book because 1.) I'm more educated on the subject and 2.) I find it really cringe to read.  That might just be my opinion on the second one, but its true in my eyes XD.

I'll see you in the next chapter. BYEEE!!!
