Disclaimer: I don't own Ninjago, just the story.

"You wanted to see me," a young android girl asked her father.

"Yes," her father said.  "I just wanted to inform you that I have decided to send you to school."

"Why are you sending me to school?  I do not need it.  I know way more than anybody who goes to school does."

"I know that.  I created you, but I thought that this could be a chance for you to have a bit of a normal life."

"Why do I need a normal life?"

"Because I want you to have social skills and be around people your own age."

"I still do not see the point of this."

"Trust me.  You will some day."

PIXAL was currently watching Seliel beating up a punching bag.  Since the two of them weren't elemental masters like the others, they always hung out while the others were training.  Lloyd's mother, Misako, would stay with the two girls when she was there, but she currently wasn't.  The two girls started becoming friends which gave PIXAL three official friends: Skylor, Zane, and Seliel.  For the past few days, Seliel has been watching videos online to learn martial arts.  Both girls wanted to be able to help the team in some way.  They didn't want to stay on the sidelines.  PIXAL didn't show how much she wanted to help out as much as Seliel did.  PIXAL was trying to be the logical one and logically, they could get hurt if they tried to help out the others when they were facing Garmadon.

"Seliel, why are you working so hard on teaching yourself how to fight?" PIXAL asked.

"Because I can't just sit around while they're fighting the bad guys!" Seliel exclaimed.  "I don't want to feel useless."

"We are not useless."

"But don't you feel that way!"  Seliel turned towards PIXAL and walked over towards her.  "I know that we don't have powers like them, but we can still fight and be out there on the field.  Don't try to tell me that you don't want to be out there fighting with them when they face Lord Garmadon."

"I do want to help," PIXAL admitted.  "I want to, but I cannot fight like you can."

"Most of it right now is videos online, but I did take karate as a kid."

"My point exactly.  I cannot fight like you."

"We can find another way for you to be out in the field," Seliel suggested.

"What other way could there possibly be?"

"I don't know, but we'll find one."  Seliel put her arm on PIXAL's shoulder.  "We may not have powers, but we can be just as tough as them.  The Phantom Ninja and whatever you decide to be."

"You are seriously calling yourself the Phantom Ninja?"

"What?  It's mysterious.  Do you not like it?"

"I like it."

Meanwhile, the others were training with Master Wu.  "Today, you all will be running through a training course."  Wu showed them the training course they were going to be doing and it looked difficult to them which explained why he didn't have do much training the previous day.  "This will help you to learn the ancient art of Spinjitzu."

"Spin-what-sue?" Kai asked.

"Spinjitzu," Wu corrected him.  "It is crucial that you learn Spinjitzu in order to defeat Lord Garmadon."

Lloyd tensed at the mention of his father.  He still wasn't fond of the idea that he would have to face his own father.

Kai, who was standing right next to Lloyd, put a hand on his shoulder.  The two had become good friends and Kai was the only person Lloyd would tell his problems to.

"I'll let you all get to work," Wu said.  "Good luck."  He walked inside the monastery and left the seven teenagers to get started on the training course.

"Who wants to go first?" Skylor asked.

"I'll do it," Cole volunteered.  He began the training course, but got wiped out on the first obstacle.  "It's not that easy," he said as he got up.

"Who's next?" Kai asked.  Nya and Skylor looked at each other before pushing Kai forward.  "What?!  Why me?!"

"Sorry babe," Skylor said and gave Kai a look that he couldn't be mad at.

"Ok.  I guess I'm up."  Kai began the training course and did a bit better than Cole.  He made it to the second obstacle before wiping out.

They all attempted the obstacle course and they all failed.  Nya made it the farthest, but even she couldn't complete it.

"This course is impossible!" Jay exclaimed.

"I agree with you," Cole said.

"How does Master Wu expect us to complete this course?" Zane asked.

Nya looked at the course carefully.  She noticed a pattern to everything that moved on the course.  'If we get the timing just right...' she thought.  "I have an idea," she announced to the others.

"What is it, Nya?" Lloyd asked.

"There's a pattern to the parts of the training course that are moving.  It'll be hard, but if we time it just right, I think we can complete it."

"That's...a good idea."

The others got up with newfound hope that they could complete this impossible task.

"Alright guys," Lloyd said.  "We can do this."  He looked at Nya.  "You go first.  The rest of us will follow you."

"You got it, Lloyd," Nya said.  She began the training course again, but this time, she paid close attention to the movement of every obstacle.  She soared through the course with grace and ease this time and made it all the way through.  They all cheered once she finished.

"Nice work, Nya," Lloyd complemented.  "Now, it's time for the rest of us to finish this thing."

The others went through the training course again one at a time.  Each one completed it this time.  Lloyd was the last one to complete it and everyone cheered once again when he finished.

PIXAL and Seliel heard their cheers and looked over at them.  "Looks like their training is going well," PIXAL said.

"That doesn't mean they don't need a couple of extra members," Seliel said.  "We'll show them that we can help too."

A/N: I hope you enjoyed!  I honestly don't know how this story is currently #25 in jaya, but next chapter will have a lot of it!
