Skylor was walking down the hall when she saw a crowd of people. Curious, she went closer to see Kai slumped against a locker with his friends crowded around him, Morro smirking but then having an expression of fear as Nya tried to lunge towards him so she could beat him up, with Cole holding her back. Instantly she put two and two together and realized the Morro did this to Kai. Rage swelled up in her chest. Cole knew that Nya would've beaten Morro up the second she got the chance, but he didn't count on Skylor being there. Skylor walked up to Morro and kicked him where it hurts. Unfortunately, a teacher saw Skylor kick Morro and brought the three of them to the office.

Skylor sat in the waiting area of the office and saw Kai go to talk to the principal, when Lloyd and Nya came. She raised a brow at them.

"While Morro was walking to the office, Lloyd and I slapped him." Nya said dryly.

Of course, Skylor thought. Why didn't I see this coming?

Soon, Nya and Lloyd went into the vice principals office and then left, leaving Skylor alone.

The vice principal, Mr. Chumsworth called Skylor into his office.

"So Skylor," Mr. Chumsworth began, "I see you have gotten into a *ahem* fight with Morro."

"It was only because he hurt Kai." Skylor darkly said as she slouched further into her chair.

"Ah, yes. That is your boyfriend, correct?"

Skylor's cheeks became a shade of pink. He might be her crush, but not her boyfriend.

"No sir, just a friend."

"Oh right, he is dating that Nya girl from what I've heard."

Okay, forget what Skylor learned in health class, that was the grossest thing she had ever heard.

"No, sir. Nya's his sister."

Mr. Chumsworth studied Skylor. She didn't seem like the other dequilents who he had to talk to, especially not that raven haired girl who had an attitude problem, who needed the blonde boy, who he assumed was her boyfriend, to calm her down. 

"You seem like a fine lady, unlike that black haired dequilent who just came in."

Skylor inwardly grinned. She'd have to tell Nya about this later.

"I will only give you detention for today, but do not get into another fight or there will be consequences."

Skylor took her detention slip and smiled.

"Thank you, sir." Skylor left the office to go to her last class of the day.

Time skip to after school cause school is boring, it sucks and I hate it

Skylor walked over to Kai as she was about to meet Nya and Lloyd to head to detention.

"Are you ok?" Skylor asked Kai

He smiled at her, filling Skylor with inexplicable joy. "Yeah, I'm fine. Didn't expect you to beat up Morro for me. That's more of Seliel and Nya's thing."

Skylor smiled back. "Well Seliel was checking if you were okay and Cole was holding Nya back, which was pretty smart, so I guess I had to do it."

Skylor just remembered something from earlier. "HeyKaiMr.Chumsworththinksthatyoursisterisadequilentwithadditudeprobl-emsandhethoughtthatyourherboyfriendwhichisweirdandIhavetogomeetLloy-dandNyaindetention, so BYE!"

Skylor ran off leaving a very confused Kai.

While Skylor was in detention she read Samuraigo fanfics on Wattdap, making sure to keep her phone hidden from the teachers.

After sitting in detention for an hour, Skylor walked home, with the usual feeling of dread in her heart. She plugged her earbuds into her phone and listened to her favourite song: the Weekend Whip's tournament remix, however even that couldn't cheer her up. She knew what was coming.

After ten minutes of walking, she arrived in front of her house. Her father was the rich founder of the popular food chain restaurant, Chen's noodles. With all the money, he was able to afford a fancy mansion-like house. Skylor walked into her house and saw her father at the kitchen table. He seemed upset about something. Skylor tried to make it upstairs without her father noticing her. If she got upstairs she could stay in the bathroom. Then he couldn't-

"Skylor, honey, I received a call from school today. They said that you got into a fight, and had to stay after school for detention." Chen said in a sickly sweet voice.

Skylor looked down. "But they hurt Kai..."

"Skylor, Skylor. Think about what you've done." He said in a patronizing voice

"I... I just wanted to help protect him. I'm sorry. It won't happen again father." Skylor said with a trembling voice.

"Think of what you did to that poor boy." His tone changed into something aloof.

"He started it!" Skylor exclaimed in fear. Her eyes widened as she realized what she'd done. "Wait! Father please! I didn't mean to yell!"

Chen glared at her daughter. "Skylor, honey. You know how I feel about talking back."

Skylor stayed silent. Speaking up only made it worse. She braced herself for what she knew would come next as her father took of his belt. If she was slightly less scared she would've tried to figure out how she'd hide any potential bruises in the future. But she was terrified. So she stood there and awaited the hit.

One hit. 

She bit her lip in her effort to hold in tears as she tried to ignore the pain.

Then she did it again.

And again.

And again, and again, and again.

Until finally, finally,

she broke down.

Her father was angered. But she couldn't pay attention. She couldn't listen to what he said. She wouldn't listen to what he said. He wanted to give her something to cry for. So she wouldn't listen. She couldn't let herself cry anymore than she already did. She made a mistake and now she was being punished for it. So she accepted the blows. 

And accepted them again.

And again.

And again, and again, and again.

At some point the torture ended. Chen asked if she had learned her lesson. Skylor remained silent. Speaking only ever made things worse. She began to make her way to her room when her father asked her a simple question.

"Skylor, honey, you know that no family's perfect, don't you?"

"Yes father.

"So... I'd hate for you to go off and tell your friends about our little secret..."

"I know father."

And with that, Skylor went to her room. However, she failed to notice a boy in red who had been looking though a window the entire time.

Also I was rewatching Ninjago and in season 4 Skylor said something like "I had to obey my father or else-"

We all know that Chen manipulated her and really didn't care about her so...
