This takes place kind of where "Ninja Family" starts, but I thought that I would give an explanation as to how they actually met.  This won't be a lemon.  I don't do that.

Lloyd was walking through the streets of Ninjago City.  He went out by himself wearing a green hoodie and blue jeans.  He had his hood pulled up to, hopefully, not be recognized.  He just wanted to get away from the monastery for a while and he didn't want to be swarmed by paparazzi either.  He liked to have alone time sometimes which was hard to get with his crazy ninja life.

He ended up walking into Laughy's.  He went up to the bar where Dareth was serving people drinks.

"Have I seen you around here before?" Dareth asked Lloyd, not recognizing him with his hood up.

"Dareth, it's me," Lloyd said.  Dareth was about to talk, but Lloyd spoke first.  "I don't want people to recognize me, so don't tell anyone I'm here."

"You got it.  You know I can't serve you any alcohol since you're too young."

"I know.  Just give me some water, please."

"Gotcha."

A girl came up and sat next to Lloyd.  She had brown hair with auburn highlights and was wearing a green T-shirt and blue jeans.

"Hello Britney," Dareth said.  "Water for you?"

"You know it," Britney said.  "I'm not 21 yet."  Dareth went to get them both some water.  Britney looked at Lloyd who was looked down.  "Hey.  Why so glum?"

Lloyd looked up, but didn't meet her gaze.  "I'm not glum," he said.  Lloyd was trying to make sure she didn't get a good look at him, but his efforts didn't work.

"You're Lloyd, right?  The green ninja," she whispered.  She could tell that he didn't want to be spotted.

"Yes," he whispered back.  "Please, don't tell anyone."

"I won't.  I can tell that you don't want people to know.  Although, the green hoodie is a dead giveaway.  I'm Britney, by the way."

Dareth came back with their waters.  "Here you go."

"Thank you," both Lloyd and Britney said.  Dareth walked away.

"So...what's the reason for your night on the town?" Britney asked.

"Just wanted to get away from everything for a night," Lloyd said.  "What about you?  Dareth seems to know you.  Do you come here often?"

"Just when my parents are out of town.  They are so strict about everything.  I like to take advantage of when they're gone.  Why don't you want to be recognized anyway?"

"I don't want the paparazzi and everyone wanting to take a picture with the green ninja.  It's hard, sometimes, being the 'savior' of Ninjago.  Everyone treats me like a celebrity when I would like to just be able to have a normal conversation with someone."

"You're having one with me, right?"

Lloyd gave her a small smile.  "I guess so."

Britney looked over to where two drunk guys were singing karaoke extremely offkey and then looked back at Lloyd.  "Want to have some fun?"

"What did you have in mind?"

"Karaoke!"

"What part of not wanting to get caught don't you understand?"

"Come on.  Everyone here is too drunk to notice or even care about who you are.  It'll be fun."

Lloyd looked up at Britney who had a big smile on her face and he caved in.  "Fine."

"Yay!"  They walked up to the karaoke machine.  "What song do you want?"

"I don't care.  You pick."

Britney looked through the songs and picked "I Hope" by Gabby Barrett ft. Charlie Puth. (The song above.)

"Seriously," Lloyd said.

"I like this song and it's a duet," Britney countered.  "You told me I could pick."

"Alright."

The song started playing and Britney sang Gabby Barrett's part while Lloyd sang Charlie Puth's part.  Lloyd was shocked that Britney had a nice voice and had fun singing with her.  For once, he actually felt...normal.

Once the song was over, Lloyd and Britney went back to where they were previously sitting.  "You're voice was amazing!" Lloyd complemented Britney.

"Thank you," Britney said sheepishly.  "I actually don't do that often.  I only want to do it if I have a partner and you seemed like you would be a nice person to partner with."

"Well, I think that you are a great singer.  You could easily do that by yourself."

"You know, you're a lot nicer than I thought you would be."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"Well, you see people on TV and you never know if that's how they really act."

"I like to try to be myself on TV.  I don't want to seem like a fake person."

"That's...refreshing."

Lloyd and Britney just drank water and talked for a few hours.

"Let me get this straight," Britney said.  "Harumi turned out to be evil and resurrected your father and made him evil again as well as tried to kill you and your friends and Akita is from another realm and can turn into a wolf."

"Exactly," Lloyd said.  "I haven't had much luck when it comes to girlfriends."

"I haven't had much luck in the boyfriend department.  My first boyfriend cheated on me with my best friend and my second boyfriend was just using me to make another girl jealous."

"Wow.  Let's have a toast to bad relationships."  Lloyd raised his glass.

"To bad relationships."  Britney raised her glass and clanked it with Lloyd's.  They both drank the remaining water in their glasses.  After Britney put down her glass, she looked at her watch.  "Where did the time go?"  She looked back at Lloyd.  "I should get going."

"I'll walk you home."

"You don't have to."

"I want to."

They both walked out of Laughy's and towards Britney's house.  They talked the whole way there.  Still, nobody recognized Lloyd.  After about 15 minutes of walking, they arrived at Britney's house.  It was a small, one story house.

"This is your house?" Lloyd asked as Britney was unlocking the front door.

"Yeah," Britney said.  "It's just me and my parents."  She opened the door and walked in.  She held the door open and moved out of the way.  "Please, come in."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah.  Like I said, my parents are out of town."

Lloyd walked in and took off his hood.  He looked around the living room.  It had a nice, big couch that could clearly fit at least five people, a big flat screen TV, and a...piano?  "Do you play?" Lloyd asked and gestured to the piano.

"No," Britney said and laughed a little.  "My mom does.  Although, she doesn't use it often.  It's mainly a...decoration."  She started walking to her room and Lloyd followed.

Lloyd looked around when they got to her room.  It had green walls and her bed sheets were even green.  She also had a decent size TV in it.  "Very green," he said.

"Green is my favorite color," she said.  "It has always been.  I guess I've just always been drawn to the color green."

He smiled at her and leaned on the door frame.  "Wow."

"What?  You're not the only person in the world to like green."

"I just thought I was the only person to have a green room."

"Not in a million years, ninja boy."  She went up to Lloyd and pulled him in for a kiss.  That kiss turned into them making out and they eventually took it over to Britney's bed and let's just say...things quickly escalated.

The next morning

Lloyd woke up and couldn't remember what had happened the previous night at first.  When he looked next to him and saw Britney peacefully sleeping, the events of the previous night started to flash in his mind.  He looked down and noticed that he wasn't wearing any clothes.  He saw his clothes on the ground next to the bed.  He slipped out from under the covers and quickly put his clothes on.  He then slipped out of the room and hurried out of the house.  He walked quickly back to the monastery.  As he walked, he looked at his phone and saw that he had a few messages from Kai, but didn't respond.  Lloyd was in shock from what he had just done.  He didn't even care if people spotted him at this point.  He never thought of himself as someone to do what he just did.  He was not planning on seeing Britney again after that.  I mean, what are the odds he would see her again?
