The war could've been prevented.

It SHOULD'VE been prevented, but there is nothing I can do about it now. The situation got too out of control. It was a matter that could've been solved easily, and it would've been, if humans were made without opinions.

I should've known better. I had the chance to END IT ALL! But I was incompetent and I chose to let him go down that path.

How the in the world did it come this, you ask?

"I'm not letting you!"

In case you aren't caught up, Ninjago is currently in turf war. And of course, we ninja are stretched thin trying to suppress it. Sure, we have some extra help, and while Skylor, Seliel, Ray, Maya, Ronin, and Dareth are trying their hardest to help, it isn't enough.

Now here I am, yelling at Taylor Ross to not release a vivid video of 2 parents getting gunned down in the middle of the street.

"Why shouldn't I?" Taylor asks. "The city needs to know to not rely on you ninja so much and that they should just leave the city. Police have already set up hundreds of safe houses for them to go to!"

"Yes, I realize that, but please think for once! Is it really a good idea to show that to New Ninjago City? If you tell them that it will put them into a state of pan-"

"Are you saying that it's true then? That you can't protect everyone?"

I see what she is trying to do. Two can play at that game!

Taylor continues. "Is it true that Ninjago is completely and utterly doomed?"

I reach toward my communication earpiece and quickly press the "record" button before answering.

"I don't know, is it? Do you think so?" I ask with a menacing edge to my voice. Taylor leans back in her chair. "Isn't it obvious? Of course it is! No one in Ninjago knows how to defend themselves because you guys always come in and save the day!"

Ok, I think that's all that I need. "We're done here." I say in my most low sounding voice.

Taylor raises an eyebrow and shows her infamous smirk. "Really, are you trying to be scary? What, are you going to pull a Batman and jump out of the window?"

"Yes." I say before leaping towards her window, shattering it. Then I jump out and make my elemental dragon.

As I fly aimlessly, I start to ponder about what Taylor said. Are we really the reason that the citizens of the city can't defend themselves? Because they always rely on us to get the job done?

Well, I guess only time will tell.
