Heyy!! This is the 11th challenge already!! And as always, I'm late!! (Well, I wrote it some time ago, but I wouldn't post it before the other two that were before this, so that why I'm so late...) But here it goes! I thought of this idea when I read the theme, because it's a music that I like, and the ending was totally based in one part of it's lyrics (it's too cold for you here / so let me hold both your hand in the holes of my sweater)!! So, I hope you like it!

It's settled after season 7, Jay and Nya are dating, and the hole Ninja team is in vacation in somewhere (I don't know where), but in this place there's a beach and when is night it gets colder than during the day, when it's sunny. (I know probably most places are like this, but here where I live, in summer is hot anytime...)

[Nya's P.O.V.]

It was a sunny day, actually, a sunny morning. We arrived here yesterday in the late afternoon, so we couldn't enjoy the beach, but today would be different. Before lunch time, we were already getting out of the hotel and placing our things in the soft sand. I wish we were closer to the sea, but because of my beloved brother, who by the way is still afraid of water, we weren't. Not that we were too far, but we didn't need to be this far.

Sorry, is just that I love being close to my element...

Everything seemed to be calm and peaceful here, no clouds could be seen... Well, I was never a girl who loved being under the burning sun to get tanned, but it was good to be hanging out with my friends.

Zane sat under the beach umbrella, reading a book. Cole and his girlfriend, Seliel, were already swimming. Lloyd was trying to convince Kai to do that too, but he kept refusing. It was kinda funny to watch, the blonde pulling the other without result, and I was so concentrated in it that Jay scared me when he hugged me from behind.

--You're ok, Nya? I thought you would just run towards the water as soon as we arrived here -- He said in his always-happy tone

--Yep, totally fine. Just watching them. I guess that if Lloyd still had his super strength he would be able to pull Kai, but now? I don't think so. He can be really stubborn, specially when it comes to swimming -- I told my boyfriend, then laughed a little bit

--Yeah, you're right. But, anyway, still wants to swim or lost interest?

--Hmm... -- I started, freeing myself from his arms -- I guess... THE LAST ONE IN THE WATER PAY AN ICE CREAM FOR THE OTHER!! -- I shouted, while running

--HEY! THAT'S NOT FAIR! YOU GOT A HEAD START!! -- He giggled, and started running too

Obviously, I arrived first.

--Hahaha, now you own me ice cream!! Yay!!! You're too slow! -- I said, acting childishly

--*playfully roll his eyes* Yeah, yeah, ok... what can I do... I'm soo soo slow... -- the water was about our knee and he was a couple meters far from me. But surprisingly, the next thing I know was Jay carrying me bridal style, contradicting his "affirmation" and being really fast. -- Sorry, but who's slow?

He was smirking, and I couldn't stop looking into his beautiful electric blue eyes and his already wet reddish brown hair, until he leaned in and kissed me passionately. After pulling apart, we joined our friends, who were playing water frisbee ball. (is this the name of the "game"? Here we just say 'let's go play frisbee' or something like that...)

[Jay's P.O.V.]

We had a lot of fun during the day, and after our "lunch" (well, if we consider that we didn't ate properly after it, it counts as lunch, even if it was only pastel (pastel is a typical fast food dish here in Brazil, and it can be filled with almost​ whatever you want, like cheese, meet, cheese and ram, chicken, and there are also some sweet flavored, etc. It is fried. We can eat it at pastelarias, a local that sells pastel, or even at the streets and beach. I personally really like pastel, it's delicious! Well, if you wanna know, it's this picture here))



me and Nya went to get our dessert, in a nearby ice cream cart.

It was getting late, the sky in a beautiful shade of orange, red and blue, and a little cold too. Well, not much, but we were all still wet, even Kai. Looks like Lloyd really was able to drag him to the sea.

I didn't care though, so I put on my t-shirt and my hoodie, thinking if I might regret it later. Naahh.

My gorgeous girlfriend was sitting in the sand, probably only one meter from the water, looking at the horizon. I walked up to her and sat next to her. She turned to face me, a smile in her red lips. And there, I realised how perfect she is: light turquoise blue eyes, just like the ocean, short black hair (now wet)... it was hard for me to believe that she was dating someone like me. But I'm happy she does.

I hugged her, but found out she was cold. No, no. Not just cold. Nya was almost freezing. Or I'm a little too paranoid. Anyway, as I was wearing a long sleeve shirt under my jacket, I decided to give the hoodie to her.

[Nya's P.O.V.] (it starts just a little before Jay came)

I was sitting in the sand, some feet from the water, watching the sunset and it's beautiful colors. With no sun... it was getting colder. And as water turns hotter or colder depending on the weather, I do too, because it's my element. I was wearing a jeans short and a red t-shirt, with short sleeves. Unfortunately, I forgot to bring my sweatshirt, maybe because I thought it wouldn't be so cold, and that we would get to the hotel earlier.

While I was thinking that, and trying to keep myself warm, I felt someone approximating me, and turned to see Jay, next to me. We smiled and starred in each other's eyes for some seconds, until he came closer and hugged me. I felt him flinch and than look at me, with a worried face. When he took out his hoodie, I had no doubt why. He handed it to me:

--You're gonna get a cold. Put it Nya, please.

I thought of not accepting, but... he was with long sleeves, and I really didn't want to get ill, so I did what he asked and wore the jacket. It was a bit bigger than me ('cause it was a bit bigger even in Jay), but it doesn't mattered right now.

--Thank you very much.. -- I said putting my hands in the pockets.

--It's ok, everything for my love -- With that, he wrapped his arms around me, pulling me into his lap, and I felt his hand join mines in the pockets, as he softly hold them. I was glad he was behind me, so he couldn't see my blushing face.

We stayed like that for some time, his head resting in my shoulder, just enjoying each other's embrace and presence. Looking at the stars in the night sky, that somehow remembered me of the gorgeous eyes my boyfriend has, I whispered to him, thinking how lucky I am to have him by my side:

--Jay, I love you

And in the same calm and cute tone he replied:

--I love you too Nya

I'm so happy that I've finished it!! I really liked this one-shot, and I hope you liked too!!! It was difficult to write because I had to keep stopping and coming back to write, because I needed to do homework, go to school, go to taekwondo and swimming class... buuut, apart from that, I really enjoyed writing it!!
