"Look out!"

"Need a little help here!"

"On my way, Kai!"

"Jay, cover me!"

"With what?"

Sensei Wu walked in to find the 5 ninjas playing video games. Sighing, he sneakily ran pass them and pulled the plug of the tv.

"Awww!" The ninjas whined.

"Why would you do that?" Jay cried. "We were almost at the end!"

"How else would I get your attention? You 5 have been playing video games all week. You haven't trained even once." Sensei Wu said.

"We've been fighting bad guys for a while now, Sensei. Can't we at least take a break?" Cole asked.

"Speaking of," Wu began. "The police called a while ago. Something has vanished in the museum this morning and the police wanted you to investigate."

"Let's go, guys!" Lloyd called as he ran to the deck, the rest of the ninja close behind. Nya was waiting for them when they got to the deck.

"What took you guys so long?" She asked.

"Sorry, sis," Kai said.

They summoned their dragons then flew to the museum. When they got there, a lot of policemen were walking around, doing what they're supposed to do.

"Ninjas," the Commissioner approached them. "Thank goodness you're here."

"What's wrong?" Lloyd asked.

The Commissioner led the ninja into a large room filled with rows and rows of black, monster-like statues.

"These are called Shadow Warriors," the Commissioner explained, pointing at the black statues. "They were once the Overlord's minions before the Stone Army. They're very hard to battle, for they have unknown dark powers and abilities. Before the fight between the First Spinjitzu Master and the Overlord, one Shadow refused to obey the Overlord and brought the other Shadow Warriors to mutiny."

"What happened to them?" Jay asked curiously.

"No one really knows what truly happened." The Commissioner sighed. "Some say that the Shadow Warriors were turned into stone before the Stone Army were created."

They walked over to an empty space between two of the statues. The Commissioner explained that one of the statues disappeared without a trace early that morning.

"I'm afraid it may have come to life after so many years." The Commissioner admitted. "I don't want any of my men to find it for they don't have what it takes to fight it. So I called for all of you."

"Do not worry, Commissioner. We will find this Shadow Warrior." Zane said.

"Very well," The Commissioner nodded in approval. "I'll leave you to it."

Once the Commissioner left, the ninja huddled together to form a plan.

"I say we split up," Cole said. "That way, we'll find it faster."

"And risk getting killed by it?" Jay hissed. "Weren't you listening to the Commissioner? He said those things have unknown dark powers. We could get killed!"

"Jay's right. We should split into teams." Lloyd said. "Me, Zane and Cole will check the western hall. Kai, Nya and Jay will check the eastern hall. Let's get a move on."

With that, the ninjas went their separate ways to look for this Shadow Warrior. But they're unaware that somewhere in the shadows, someone was watching them.

"I'm starting to think that Shadow Warrior isn't here anymore," Kai said as he looked behind a stone statue.

"People will be screaming if it was," Nya pointed out. "Also, the police would've saw it if it sneak out while we're looking."

"Uh, guys?" Jay called from outside the room. "You might wanna see this."

Kai and Nya ran to where Jay was and saw a black, shadowy dragon-like creature rummaging through some displays.

"I think it's still here," Kai whispered to avoid getting its attention.

"You think?" Nya hissed.

The Shadow turned around and saw the three. It growled then charged at them.

The three of them dodged, causing the Shadow to slam into the wall.

"Ha!" Jay smirked.

The Shadow faced them and two large, black swords materialized in its clawed hands. The swords were emitting black particles.

"Time to play," the Shadow said in a deep and menacing voice.

It charged at the three once again, swords aiming for their heads.

Just before the blades got to them, Kai and Nya took out their swords and blocked the blades. Jay ended up kicking the Shadow on the face.

The Shadow stumbled back but regained its balance. It charged at the three ninjas, but this time, it smacked Jay into some large vases.

"Jay!" Nya called.

Kai and the Shadow Warrior started to fight each other while Nya ran to help the master of lightning.

Kai managed to stab the Shadow on the stomach. But instead of screaming in pain, the Shadow laughed as if it tickled.

"What the-?" Kai wondered, pulling his sword out of its stomach and backing away.

"Foolish mortal," the Shadow Warrior growled. "Your weapon will do no harm to me. And so will your powers. Your world will soon turn into our world."

"Not if we stop you!" Nya said as she and Jay stood behind the master of fire.

The Shadow laughed before turning into a cloud of black mist.

"It was fun playing with you," the Shadow's voice echoed in the ninjas' heads. "But I really must get back to my mission. See you all around."

With that, the black mist floated down the western hall as fast as lightning.

"It's heading to where the others are!" Kai exclaimed.

"Uh, guys?" Jay began. "What did it mean by 'mission'?"

"I think it's looking for this." Nya said as she showed them a piece of paper she found. The paper has a picture of a black shard.

"The Shadow Stone Shard...?" Jay read aloud. "It says here that it's at the western hall, so why was it looking here?"

"Doesn't matter," Kai said. "It's heading to where the others are. We have to help them."
