Have you ever met someone who care so much about money and fame? Well, this is a story based on a popstar who is struggling having a girlfriend and a waitress who wants to save her parents' cafe from a unknown person who wants to shut it down. The two main characters in this story are able to face their problems by two hearts in a song.

In the big city is Ninjago and every building represent a meaning to each other. The tallest building is Borg Industries and it's meaning is technology everywhere. To a place called a junkyard, it's meaning is having junk everywhere and are pretty useful to people who loves to build things. To the smallest building is where a family lives at and it is a cafe where they worked everyday. It is Chen's Cafe and the Chen family loves to work at their cafe for bringing smiles to their customers. The Cafe's meaning is a meaning many customers tried to figure out. Many customers were asked by Chen and Scarlett of what's the meaning of this cafe. Many don't know the answer making the Chen Family feel sad and left out of the huge success they do. Instead of a lot of customers, there's just a medium size of customers and a waitress, Skylor, Chen and Scarlett's daughter, spent her life trying to figure out the true meaning of the cafe while working and singing.

"Oh my God! Kai Smith!" A reporter said as she and other people were surrounding Kai with Chamille. Many photographers were taking pictures but Ray got mad. "Please! Don't take pictures! No pictures!" Ray said and he grabbed Kai and Chamille's hands and they walked away from the paparazzi. "Wait! Is this Kai's new girlfriend, Ray?" A male reporter said which Ray ignores the question and continued walking to Smith Studios with Kai and Chamille. By the time, they're at Smith Studios, many paparazzi were there and they followed Kai, Chamille, and Ray to the office and Ray sighed with annoyance and head to his office and shut the door.

"Looks like your son's getting attention with Chamille by a lot paparazzi lately, Ray" Sofia said and she and Chris let Ray sit on a chair. "Yeah, he keeps getting caught by paparazzi every second around Ninjago, it's like the paparazzi's ants to him" Ray said. "Ray, this is not the time to joke around, the duet's in about 5 days, Kai promised his fans that he's going to do his first duet ever in his life" Chris said. "Of course, let's hope Chamille will accept the fact that she's singing with Kai" Ray said. "Yeah, she's the 14th girlfriend Kai had ever dated in this whole entire week! We're losing time for the duet! We need 3 trillion dollars by his fans!" Sofia said. "I know, we're still wondering what song for the duet Kai and Chamille are going to sing" Ray said.

"Um, paparazzi, can I talk to Kai alone for a sec?" Chamille said. "Of course, Chamille, we'll be at the main part of the office" One of the reporters said and the paparazzi all leave Chamille and Kai alone.

"Hey, I bet Chamille will not slapped Kai when they're alone" Chris said and Chamille talked to Kai and she slapped him. "Ooh! That's a hard slap from Chamille" Sofia said. "Let's hope they won't break up" Chris said. "We're over, Kai!" Chamille yelled at Kai and walked away from him. "You seem to jinx the opposite of what you said, Chris" Sofia said. "Well, you should have stop me from jinxing things" Chris said. "I would have punched you for you to stop jinxing things and Smith Studios is now in big danger! Without a girlfriend for Kai to sing for the duet, Smith Studios going to lose 4 million of money and will end up losing it's studio" Sofia said and they end up arguing and Ray walked out of his office to see his son.

"Hey, Kai, I saw you got slapped by Chamille and that you and her are over" Ray said. "Yeah, God, that slap hurts, it's like a snake's poison but worse" Kai said. "Are you okay with Chamille breaking up with you?" Ray said. "Yeah, I'm fine, she and I dated yesterday for the duet that's coming up" Kai said. "Why do you break up with Chamille?" A reporter said as paparazzi come where Kai's standing. "I just asked her to sing a duet with me and that she had to give me 4 billion dollars to sing with me" Kai explained and a news reporter was with her news crew. "We are here at Smith Studios with Kai Smith who's telling us why Chamille, a popular female singer of Ninjago break up with him before the duet. The main reason why she break up with him is because Kai wants 4 billion dollars from her in order to sing the duet" The news reporter said. Everyone bugged Kai with a dozen of questions and Ray tried to keep the paparazzi and the rest of them of Smith Studios.

From the loudest building to the quietest building is Chen's Cafe. "Here you, your cup of coffee, 2 cups of sugar, with the right amount of milk and caramel" The waitress said handing a lady a cup of coffee. "Thank you, Skylor, how much is the coffee?" The lady said. "$4. 56, ma'am" Skylor said looking at the order on her paper. "Here you go, $5, keep the change" The lady said. "Thank you and have a nice day" Skylor said to the lady as she walked out of the cafe with her coffee.

"Looks like you're making great progress, Skylor" Chen said. "You bet I am, dad, here's $12 for each of the customer's change is since they want us to keep it" Skylor said handing her dad the money. "Perfect, Skylor, I'll give this to your mom" Chen said and Scarlett come out of the kitchen holding a plate of cookies. "Or not" Chen added and Skylor laughed. "I heard good news from Skylor and to celebrate as a family is cookies" Scarlett said. "Skylor's change from the customers today is $12 today, Scar" Chen said handing her the $12. "Oh my God, perfect!" Scarlett said and she turned on the TV.

"Kai, how are you going to find a new girlfriend before the duet?" The reporter said. "I'm going to find her-" "He's going to find her by hosting a contest for girls around Ninjago to sing a song to impress him" Clouse said and everyone gasped as he walked in. "Clouse, weren't you kicked out of Smith Studios after the incident you did with the last singer!" Ray said. "Dad! Don't yelled at him. I actually like his idea of finding a new girlfriend, a contest for girls who love to sing and one of them had to impress me by singing the right song they're connected to" Kai said and Clouse smiled. "I'm happy you like the idea, Kai, Ray, I had changed after I got kicked out and I will never do the same mistake ever plus I want to be manager to Kai" Clouse said to Kai and Ray. "I'm giving you a second chance, Clouse, and I don't know if I can trust you being a manager to Kai" Ray said and everyone cheered. "Did you hear that, girls? Kai and Clouse are hosting a contest for you girls to sing a song in order to impress Kai to sing with him at the duet. Will Kai ever get impressed by any of you beautiful singers?" The news reporter said and Skylor turned off the TV.

"Skylor, you should go to the contest and sing a song to impress Kai, you would be his new girlfriend for the duet" Chen said. "Dad, I'm not sure about the contest, I'm not a good singer" Skylor said. "Sky, you sing Happy Birthday very good to one of our friends on his birthday, your father and I will always support you and we need the money to save this cafe" Scarlett said. "What? Who's going to destroy this cafe?" Skylor said. "I don't know but this person wants to destroy this cafe into a bank" Scarlett said. "Skylor, that's why we are both proud of you getting $12. We need a million to save this building or else we're leaving Ninjago to a different place" Chen said. "Mom, Dad, I can't believe this place is going to get destroy but I don't want to sing at the contest to impress a guy who is stupid and popular" Skylor said. "Why is that, Skylor?" Chen said. "Dad, Mom, you both know if I sing on stage, I had stage fright, I don't want to be a complete fool of myself" Skylor said as she opened the backdoor. "I'm going to get some rest, see you two tomorrow" Skylor said as she head upstairs and closed the backdoor.

"One day, Skylor will be able to face her fear to save this cafe from getting destroyed" Scarlett said. "But Scar, we don't know the meaning of this cafe. Every building in Ninjago had a meaning except this place" Chen said and Scarlett nodded agreeing to Chen and they head to a table and sit down on the chairs.
