Kai lead Skylor out of the balcony and they sit on a bench. Outside was quiet and cold but Kai coughed interrupting the silence outside.

"Skylor, how come you do the contest? What was the main reason to do it?" Kai asked Skylor and Skylor sighed. "I do the contest so that my parents' cafe can be save by Clouse. He's been torturing my parents like forever and even told them to give him $4 thousand dollars. I was trying to helped my parents with this so that the cafe won't be able to shut down" Skylor explained and Kai touches her hands.

"I know you were the Phoenix the whole time" Kai said making Skylor shocked. "Really but how do you know?" Skylor said and Kai smiled. "Let's just say that I heard you sing Titanium before Clouse does and I think you are a pretty amazing singer" Kai said and Skylor hugged him.

"I want to help you save your parents' cafe but I don't know how to save it" Kai said. "A charity, Kai. A charity that is about putting in $4 to save the cafe and reward is a free concert that you'll be performing" Skylor said and Kai was shocked. "Wow, I have never heard from anyone even from a pretty redhead like you" Kai exclaimed and Skylor blushed. "Kai, it depends on your desicion. You're a popstar and I think you need to do something new like a charity instead of contests" Skylor said. "My desicion is to host a charity based on saving Chen's Cafe so that you and your family can be happy of a upgraded cafe" Kai boomed and Skylor hugged him.

"Thanks, Kai" Skylor cried and Kai cupped her cheeks. Skylor and Kai both leaned in to kiss but

"You worked at a cafe, Sky and I want you to add the Puffy Potstickers on the menu" Dareth interrupted and Skylor and Kai laughed. "I'll ask my parents about it, Dareth" Skylor repiled back making Dareth cheering for luck.

"So are you now my official girlfriend, Sky?" Kai asked Skylor making her crossed her arms. "In one condition, Kai, please rehired Jay as the mechanic of Smith Studios" Skylor said and Kai smiled. "I'm planning to, Sky, because he's dating my sister and I need to keep a close eye on them if they do you know what" Kai said and Skylor laughed. "Okay then I'm your official girlfriend" Skylor said and the couple walked back in the palace.

Kai walked on stage to announced something.

"Dear people that lived in Ninjago City, please put $4 in Smith Studios charity bottle in order to save a cafe that's about to shut down. If we saved it, then you all are invited to a free concert that I'll be singing at" Kai said and Skylor smiled and everyone take out $4 showing it to him.

"Sky, Kai did the right thing to do: saving Chen's Cafe" Jay said. "I know and I'm really proud of him of his change as a popstar" Skylor said and fireworks started to explode outside of the palace.

Next chapter is the last chapter of this story. 😭
I absolutely think this story is a upgraded version of Water Lightning but with pop music and a different plot.
