kaylani is an entertaining person to be around. she loves being someone that people will just stare at with a confused look on their face for a second. she isn't an attention hog or anything, but when she is in the spotlight she really takes advantage of it. she likes to mess around with sarcasm and humor to make people both laugh and feel a little uncomfortable at the same time. she is the kind of person that attracts attention without even trying, just because she is so different.
     she can be loud and some people definitely find her totally annoying. she says what's on her mind whenever she wants to, and she isn't afraid to get in a fight over it. she is very stubborn and has hard opinions that don't often change unless you give her a good reason. she doesn't really have a filter to help her come up with something to say, so she just speaks without thinking and hopes things make sense. she is the kind of person that will watch an argument and egg both sides on just because she thinks it's funny.
     kaylani has some attachment issues stemming from her mother. she had a lot of trouble really connecting with people in a deep way. she likes to talk to people and she will basically talk to anyone, but when it comes to fully opening herself up, she can't do it. she just doesn't know how to. she hates this about herself, and she tries really hard to open up, and you will be able to tell when she is trying. she doesn't like when people force her or push her too far, and she can get really angry. her temper doesn't show all that often, but when it does it's very scary to see her mad.

kaylani bryn budreau was born to amelia budreau on april 11th. she grew up without a father figure, so some would say that was the reason she lived in a broken home. in reality, kaylani had a broken relationship with her mother. she was the child of her mother's rapist, and her mother didn't have the money to get an abortion, and she had been in denial about it for a long time. amelia loves her daughter very much, but there will always be that barrier between them in their relationship. kaylani just reminds her of everything she's been through. but kaylani was never told this, so she doesn't know.
     kay's mother didn't have the best education, so she works in construction on houses and bridges. it's enough for them to make ends meet. kay learned to help out by selling drugs, but soon she let her curiosity get the better of her and she started smoking weed herself. she just used it as a way to relax and chill out, and not have to worry about any of her problems. she didn't do very well in school because she became friends with a lot of college students instead of kids her own age. she would just skip classes with her friends and go driving around and smoking.

     - has her nose pierced in both sides, her septum pierced, multiple ear piercings, and her tongue and belly button pierced
     - all of her piercings and tattoos were done for free or at a crazy discount from people she knows
     - she doesn't have a lot of friends her own age, she tends to hang out with older people
     - she could probably do well in school if she applied herself and actually went to classes
     - doesn't really have a hobby other than skating, which makes her mother a little confused
