height
5'6"

personality
rosemary is honestly just the most kind person you will ever meet. she is sweet like you would never believe. mary is always doing things for other people. so often that she really can't help herself. she often does whatever she can to make others feel happy, accepted, and welcome. she was raised well and was always taught to be kind, but by now it's become some kind of compulsion. she often feels horrible, even sick to her stomach, if she doesn't do something kind for a person who needs it. of course she would never let anyone else know that, though.
mary is crazy empathetic and always feels other people's emotions. whenever someone is sad or hurting, she feels it just the same. people don't really understand her feelings and how it actually physically hurts her sometimes, and people call her a wimp and too sensitive. sometimes mary even thinks that of herself, but she can't stop her feelings no matter how hard she tries. however, one thing she can do is conceal them from others. she doesn't let anyone see inside of her head, and she is very good at it too. she covers everything up with a light exterior and jokes a lot with other people.
mary tries to be a very lighthearted person. when she isn't being affected by her empathetic tendencies, she is a jokester like her parents were. her outlook on life is neither optimistic or pessimistic, however she tries to be as positive as possible. she knows that life sucks sometimes, but tries her best to have faith that it will always get better. mary laughs a lot and is a jokester.
mary has a bit of a temper. if she didn't have a temper, she would not have been able to live by herself well. she always needed to fend for herself and defend her rights, so if she didn't stand up for herself she wouldn't still be around todau. she has a temper because she needs to have one to get what she needs. she isn't exactly used to not having to fight to get what she wants. but just because she has a temper doesn't mean she wants to use it. a lot of the times, when she gets angry, she cries; not because she is upset but because she has to yell. this happens a lot when she has to argue with authority; she has never liked it but she knows that she has to do it.
mary does not talk to other people about her emotions. she keeps her feelings inside of her because she doesn't feel the need to burden other people with her problems. she is a very private person about her life and doesn't talk about her emotions at all with people. she keeps things very bottled up and just tries to be a happy person all the time. she doesn't really understand that she doesn't need to be happy all the time, but she puts on a happy face to make sure that other people are always happy.
mary is not the most positive and confident with her body. she is pretty confident in her personality and her abilities, but her body is a place where she struggles. she was a bit chubby in middle school and high school, but she glowed up the summer before college. but she still seems to find things about her body that she doesn't like; she still sees a chubby kid who boys didn't really like. all she knows now is that men and women like her body, so she just dresses up for them, and not for herself. she does a lot of things for other people instead of doing them for herself.

strengths
mary is a strong willed person and she knows how to get what she wants. she is tactical and will work hard at everything she does to achieve her goals. mary is a genuinely nice and cool person, so people often gravitate toward her that way. she is very confident in her talents and abilities, and that shows in her performances on stage and with other people. she is great at helping people and will never fail for make others feel happy and welcome. she is a funny person who can lighten the air in a room in a split second.

weaknesses
mary keeps her emotions bottled up inside of her and doesn't let other people see them. she doesn't like to bother others with her problems. she cares about other people more than she cares about herself. her self body image isn't that great, and she has a hard time understanding healthy body image. she has a temper that can rise when she gets angry, and she doesn't like to confront adults, as it gets her very anxious. she will probably sleep with anyone that finds an interest in her, because she likes feeling good about herself if someone likes the way her body looks.

backstory
rosemary was born to amalise mitchell and derek cameron 27 long years ago. amalise was 19 years old and just out of high school when she gave birth to mary, and her father was 21. amalise has cystic fibrosis, and was always very sick. this paired with her pregnancy made it so she was unable to go to college. derek was a driven man, and was a construction worker, but that meant that he wasn't in college either, and he wasn't making much money either. the family grew up in the slums and 'ghetto' of the neighborhood, seeing as that's what was the cheapest place to live. but even though they never had a lot of money, mary's parents loved her very much. they always kept her company and gave her the best life that she could possibly have. both her parents were very funny and animated, and her father loved to sing. all of those traits were passed down to rosemary, who grew up being very theatrical. her parents were always very good at distracting her from the money problems. because in reality, they were living day to day, and had a lot of trouble finding a way to pay for rent and food.
along with money problems, mary's mom was very sick all the time. when it comes to cystic fibrosis, the patients are almost always sick all the time. it was lucky for amalise to have made it to age 26 at all, but when mary was 7, her mother died. it obviously hit mary very hard and it took her a long time to come back from. she grew very attracted to her father, who sang to her a lot and taught her how to sing and play guitar. mary loved music all he life, and when she went to elementary school and they started to put on plays, mary loved that as well. this began her love of theater, which her father greatly encouraged. theater led to wanted to dance, which was expensive but they did their best to manage.
when mary was 12, her father started to become sick himself. at first, mary didn't notice anything was wrong. it started when he forgot what day of the week it was. or forgot to go to work on time. he could sometimes choke on his water, or very small things like that. derek didn't tell mary anything was wrong with him until a year later, and it started to be more obvious. he went to the doctors, he was diagnosed with total system atrophy, which is a disease which causes autonomic failure in the brain. it's a very long and slow death, and before long mary had to help take care of her father. they didn't have enough money to keep him in a home, so by the time mary was 16, she had to help her father take baths. he couldn't walk so he couldn't go to work, and the family was living day by day off of welfare. at this point, mary was at bridgeport and she had a full scholarship because of her grades and her theatrical and dance talents. she didn't have a lot of friends in high school; she was pegged as the theater geek. she wasn't very attractive and she never had nice clothes, and people didn't really talk to her. she hung around 'weirdos' a lot because of theater so normal people didn't want to talk to her much.
mary's father knew that very soon he wouldn't be around anymore for her, so he decided to have her emancipated so she wouldn't have to go into the foster system. he passed all of his money onto her and mary stayed in the house with her father, even though she was technically emancipated. one night, after dinner, mary's father couldn't breathe. mary called 911 and her father had to be kept at the hospital. they found out that his food was going into his lungs and he couldn't breathe. mary was told that her father had about a week or two to live, and he, to put it simply, starved to death in the hospital. as hard as it was for mary to loose her mother, it was even harder for her to watch her father deteriorate before her eyes.
she lived alone in the ghetto house that she grew up in, and her house got broken into a few times since she was a young girl who lived on her own. that's when she learned how to use a gun. she never shot anyone but she could always shoot at the ground to scare the people trying to rob her. she kept up with theater and dance as best she could, but it was mostly through school as separate classes would cost money that she didn't have. but she was very talented and lucky enough to go to a state school for college on a full ride for theater.
while she was at college, let's just say that she hit puberty hard. she had a very late glow up, but it sure as hell was a good one. she found that everybody, guys, girls and all the others, wanted to get with her. she didn't have her first kiss until college, and her first kiss turned into her second, third, etc. when she lost her virginity, that escalated in the same way. she tried to get into a few full relationships, but people never seemed to want that from her, so it kind of made her feel like she was back in high school and a theater loser again, so she just stayed with sleeping with everyone. she was at college for a year and a half before she auditioned for mean girls on broadway and got the role as an ensemble dancer, and an understudy for cady and karen. she stayed at mean girls for two years, able to understudy her roles many times before leaving to go back to school for physical therapy.
