Reader's Pov.

So, I was the princess of (your kingdoms name) and we were at War with O'khasis, and father said that I HAD to marry the second born of O'khasis which was The High Priest of O'khasis also named Zane Ro'meave. I didn't want to marry him but I had no choice I couldn't escape the Castle, they had Guards all over the Castle making sure I didn't escape. Apparently there where coming to visit for a week, and today was the day they come down...

I walk out of my room and I saw hundreds of maids top to bottom cleaning getting ready for his and his family arrival. A maid came running up to me

Maid: "princess what are you doing out here your supposed to be getting ready"

She said while pushing me back in my room

Reader: "I just wanted see what's happening"

Maid: "you can after you get changed in this"

She hands you a dress (with your favourite colour )

I walked to the bathroom in my room to get changed and come back out

Maid: "I think Zane will approve of you, now let me do your hair princess"

I hated when the maids call me princess but that's what father said to call me by...

I walked over to my dresser and sat down for her to do my hair

(Chose your hair colour)

Maid: "where all done princess, and my you look wonderful"

Reader: "Thank you, now is there anything else?"

Maid: "yes there is princess your father wants to speak to you in his study"

'Great' I said in my mind

Reader: "thank you for getting me ready you may leave"

The maid bowed then left

I walked out of my room where two guards where place to extort me to my father's room, so I wouldn't try to escape. They walked both sides of me while going there, once we got there, I knocked on the door and I heard a faint 'come in' so the guards open the door for me. When I got inside of his study the two-guard stayed outside guarding it.

I sighed

Reader: "Father you wanted to see me"

I said walking closer to his desk

Father: "yes I did, now I wanted to talk about Zane, now come here and sit"

He said pointing to a chair, I walked over to the chair and sat down and he did to at his desk.

Reader: "so father what did you want to talk about?"

Father: "well you and Zane are going to marry in two weeks' time"

Reader: "WHAT...... don't you think two weeks is a little bit early father?"

Father: "no I think it's right, Zane and his Family will be arriving any moment now and they will be staying for a week then after this week is over you're going to their place for the week and at the end of that week you are going to get married by Zane, now when they come here and put on your best behavior or else you don't want to end up like your mother"

He smirked

My eyes filled with tears when he brought up mother, my mother was the nicest and most caring person I know she cared for nearly everyone. But father didn't like that so he would lock her up and beat her up until she passes out. a couple of years ago, she passed away she couldn't take it anymore. After she had passed away my father at times would lock me in my room not letting me have any food what so ever sometimes he would give me bread and water to last the week with. But everything changed when O'khasis was having a war on our kingdom he knew that they had a son who didn't run away like the other two did. But he made a deal with them, if I marry Zane we would stops this war and give them anything they wanted.

Father: "so I'll take it that you're going to be a good girl"

He got out of his chair and came up to me and wipe the tears way that I had

I just nod my head yes in sadness

A guard comes in

Guard: "sorry your highness but there'll here"

Father: "excellent we will come straight away then...

*He smirked down at me*

Smile and be good"

We walked out of the castle and to the gates which were opened and there was a carriage outside

One of their guards open it and a lady walks out first then a man and then a boy who looked like my age (19-20)

Father: "welcome to (your kingdoms name)

You must be Ziannia, Grate, and your son Zane it's a pleasure to meet you in person"

Grate: "well thank you (your fathers name) it's a pleasure to meet you...

*he looks at you* and you must be (your name) it's a pleasure to meet you too"

Ziannia: "oh honey she's perfect for our son"

Father: "why don't you say hello to their son (your name)?"

My father look at me with a death glare

I walked over to their son/ Zane

Reader: "I-it's a pleasure to meet you Zane"

She bowed

Zane:" the same too you too (your name)"

Zane grabbed you're hand and kissed and he slightly smirked

Father: "now come we will show you two your rooms (your name) my dear you and Zane are sharing a room a maid will come and find you and show it too you but now Ziannia and Grate follow me we will leave them to talk alone"

My father gave me a smirk and I look way form him.

after they had left it was just me and Zane

there was silent

Zane: "you know there's no way out of this"

He said evilly

Reader: "I... don't know what you're talking about"

I quickly

Zane: "I know that you don't want this but you don't have a choice, you're going to marry me no matter what"

Reader: "......"

She looks away from him

But he grabs your chin to face him

Zane: "now once we get back inside I want us to hold hands and look like a couple"

Reader: "and what happens if I don't want to do that?"

Zane: "I make your life a living hell"

I was shocked he said that

Zane: "now my Darling we should get back to your castle, so we don't worry our parents

*He holds my hand*

Lead the way my love"

I sighed
Reader: "it's this way"

And he was smirking

'is this my life now'

She thought
