Noaah, Altaïr, Vyykium, Azeline, and Evangelos came to a halt in front of the figure.

It was a young woman who appeared to look about twenty years old. She had long, dark brown hair that curled and cascaded down her back. Her eyes where a silver-white color.

"C-can we help you?" Azeline began nervously.

The woman didn't respond to Azeline—-instead her gaze directed toward Noaah. "Noaah, correct?"

Noaah froze. "H-how do you know my name?" He stammered. "Who are you?" She can't be a Devine, right? She looks nothing like one of them.

In unison both Vyykium and Evangelos said, "That's Zephyria Xenakis… Queen of the sirens!"

"It's good to think that some of you know who I am," Zephyria began.

Vyykium bowed a little to Zephyria. "I'm Prince Vyykium Ulyavir of Kaluvkar."

Evangelos introduced himself next. "I'm Lord Evangelos Kythira of Troy, my lady."

Zephyria raised an eyebrow, looking amused. "A Trojan?"

      Evangelos nodded.

"I thought you were twenty… How old are you?" Noaah questioned.

"As of this year… a thousand," Evangelos answered.

Noaah blinked a couple of times in disbelief.

"I'm Azeline de Chalons of the Drakolanc people."

"I'm Prince Altaïr Siraj… Son of the vampire kings Akuppi-Adad and Amar-Arah."

"Akuppi-Adad," Zephyria started to say. "I've met him once or twice before."

"Mother!" Wanda shouted as she rushed down the hall toward Zephyria.

Arii followed behind his twin sister. "What are you doing here?"

"I've come for my children, Arii…" Zephyria explained.

"Let me get this straight," Noaah started to say. "The Trouble Twins are your children? And they can speak English?"

      Zephyria nodded. "They are."

Arii answered the second question, "Oh, we can speak English alright…"

Fade approached the group with Whisper trailing behind her.

Noaah observed the way Whisper somewhat clung to Fade. So she told him that she's his mother then?

Wanda beckoned Fade and Whisper closer so they'd be right in Zephyria's line of sight. "I've brought her…"

Fade nervously shifted her weight back and forth from leg to leg. "Why did you need me, Queen Xenakis?"

"I wanted my children all in one place," Zephyria explained.

"C-come again?" Fade questioned in response.

"You're our sister," Arii explained to her. "Well, technically half-sister…"

"And that makes me her grandson then?" Whisper asked.

"Yes… and my first one at that," Zephyria answered. Her gaze trailed back over to Noaah. "And now that leaves you, my son."

"S-son?" Noaah stammered. "I'm your son?"

      Zephyria nodded.

"You're the youngest sibling," Wanda drummed out.

"Why did you abandon me then?" Noaah asked, trying to sound as calm as he could.

"The life of a siren… It's not easy, Noaah. I'm sure you're aware of that. Separating you from me was the best way to assure your safety," the siren queen tried to explain to the snowy haired boy.

"Guys," Jayaatu called out as he ran over. "I hate to be that person, but we're running out of time… The Devines will realize we're gone at any minute."

Noaah stood deep in thought before blinking a few times. His mind lingered on Zephyria's words and his and Vyykium's experiences. "I've got an idea."

      "What?" Jayaatu asked him.

As Noaah slid his one hand into Altaïr's, he said, "Round up all of the sirens in the facility… Bring them to the arena. We need them all in one place."

─┉─¡! • !¡─┉─

Noaah paced back and forth on the high up ledge of the arena as he watched Jayaatu and Evangelos bring a hundreds of sirens into the arena.

Noaah studied the group from his perch. I never realized how many sirens were really here in Terra del Diavolo.

Each one of the sirens were battered, bloody, and bruised.

Once all of the sirens quieted, Noaah cleared his throat; then he took a deep breath.

"I'm Noaah Iomharsson," the young siren began. "And I'm just like you… Just like all of you… A siren. For years… For centuries, our people have had to hide in the shadows… Afraid what man and monster will do to us if we as much show our wings. For years… on repeat, our kind has been rounded up and slaughtered in cold blood. No longer should we let this happen. We should stand tall… Show who we are. We weren't made because of a horrific accident… We were made through evolution. We don't chose this as much as the Devines chose to be demons… But we can be proud. We free ourselves."

Noaah took another deep breath before increasing the level of his echoing voice. "We stand our ground… And yes, we might die… I don't know about you guys, but I'm not going down without a fight." He paused for a moment. "They think we're bloodthirsty monsters… So I say… Let's show them what bloodthirsty monsters are actually like."

Loud cheers and screams of agreeance echoed through the arena right as Rarguun entered guiding a whole legion of demons.

    "There they are!" Rarguun shouted.

"To arms!" Evangelos screamed before yanking a sword from a rack and jumping from the top of the arena to the ground.

"Now!" Rarguun shouted, causing the demons to shoot essences of Xuviphas into the air, making the vials explode, and turn into mist.

The demons and sirens charged at each other, cutting each other down.

A demon lunged at Noaah and the young siren used his free arm to flip the demon over the rail.

Due to the Xuviphas in the air, the demon snapped his neck on the way down.

"Let's stay close together," Altaïr suggested as he bashed a demon's head in.

Noaah nodded in agreement. "Yeah, let's."

As the fight continued on for hours, people who weren't sirens saw Altaïr, Whisper, Fade, Azeline, and Jayaatu fighting for siren freedom—-soon, many elves, werewolves, and vampires had joined the fight on the side of the sirens.

As the battle raged on, Noaah heard the screams of sirens being cut down. He looked over to see the piles of siren bodies lying the ground. Time seemed to slow down around him for a second.

Jayaatu ran over to Noaah. "Noaah! Noaah!" He began to shake the siren out of his daze. "We're losing this battle! There's too many-" He inhaled. "Rarguun's forces are too strong!" He inhaled once again. "What do you want us to do?"

Noaah continued to watch the siren bodies fall to the ground before he swallowed and yelled, "Retreat!"
