Marinette's POV:

  I  felt my consciousness about to slip away for the last time.

   I knew  I had to be brave for his sake.

   I  looked at Chat and saw the anguish in his adorable eyes.

   The eyes that I knew were a big part of his tender heart.

 "Chat, please come here." 

  I saw him hesitate, but he came just the same as I knew he would.

  I handed him the small notebook that held all my thoughts, secrets, and more within it.

  I  reached up. I played with his hair.

   I heard his sigh.

 "Kitty is okay, all good things must end, and my life is ready to close its final chapter."

   "No, M'lady!  No, Princess!  Do not leave me. I love you!  Please do not die. You can not do this to me to us."  Chat's protests went into my ear.

  I hugged him. I kissed him goodbye.

  I felt his lips tenderly return the kiss.

   I  felt him squeeze my hand as I  slowly felt myself slip away from him.

  This time it was forever.
