Kaoru rushed to the hospital and waited anxiously to see Chisato. A doctor came up to her.

"I'm very sorry, but.... Chisato died a couple of minutes ago..... I'm so sorry."

Kaoru stared at the doctor, not believing him. "No. No, you're lying." She was starting to shake.

The doctor tried to calm her down. "Ma'am. I know that you don't believe me, but I'm telling the truth. Please calm down."

Kaoru ran past him and burst into Chisato's room. The heart monitor had the long sound. She was truly gone.

"Ch-chi-chan...." Kaoru whispered. She slowly took Chisato's hand. It was ice cold.

Kaoru cried to herself, falling asleep in the the process.
