Pep Assemblies

First off, pep assemblies should not be required.
I could have spent the time happily playing card games, doing homework and reading. That's enough school spirit, right? I mean, I'm supporting the spirit by doing academic things.

Secondly, they're too loud.
The kazoos are the worst, wielded by idiots who buy in to the school cheers.
Show your school spirit?
More like show the school how much you love silly string and baby powder

Like, come on. If this entire thing was required just to name our new [updated] mascot [costume], I swear...

Then what about those with problems in large crowds? Panic attack is starting. - My friend (who really did end up with a panic attack. Or a few.)

AND THE CHEER TEAM. OH MY GOSH THERE IS A REASON WHY I DIDN'T JOIN IT THIS TEAM. IT'S JUST NOT GOOD. Like, their success is that some did roundoffs as they came in. Roundoffs are easier than cartwheels. Oh wait, look, a stunt. But it doesn't take three people to base. OR FOUR PEOPLE TO SPOT. THESE STUNTS AREN'T EVEN BEING DONE CORRECTLY. A basket toss needs to have the FULL stunt, not just the prep! WHYCANTYOUCHEER #crying I'm losing hope in cheer. So glad I never joined the team. Also, they shouldn't be wearing long sleeve uniforms when it's almost 80 degrees out.

Okay, well the hip hop group was good. There was good music. (Even though there were complications with choreography)

Cupid Shuffle should not be done with everyone in the stands. People should also not be forced to stand up for a dance they don't want to dance to.

You're out of silly string, please stop spraying.
No, don't throw milk cartons instead.
I will take that kazoo out of your mouth.
Too many people, not enough space?
Even space bags can't fix this mess.

And yes, the picture on the side (or top) is from my school right before the assembly started. 80 DEGREES OUTSIDE. #getussomesnowplease
