Hey people!! As you guys probably know, the Open Novella Contest 2020 started on 1 Feb and the 2k milestone is in 2 days.

I wrote 3 books:

1. Begin Again

Prompt #61: After being jilted, you move to the city to hide your embarrassment, lick your wounds and start afresh.

Alexia Grey is a happy-go-lucky girl who had been dumped by her high school sweetheart. Things got more unbearable when it became the talk of the town and people either gave her looks of pity or laughed at her. Left without a choice, she left for the city to start afresh.

Matteo Knight is a career-minded man who does not allow his emotions to get the better of him. To achieve his lifetime goal of becoming a famous doctor, he refuses to get distracted by anything. As a result, he had grown distant from everyone around him.

Enter Alexia Grey who has now become his neighbour. What kind of sparks will fly between a boy who is driven by his desire for success, and a girl who wants a fresh start in life?

2. Mismatched

Prompt #66: GameSetMatch, a new dating app/game that promises to find you your soulmate, matches you with the one ex you hate and who dumped you in a way you'll always remember.

GameSetMatch is a gamer-dating app that promises to find you your soulmate. First, set up your dating profile. Next, play the game, interact with other users and tap the heart button if you like their personality. Finally, you get matched with users who chose you too!

Belinda Clarke downloaded GameSetMatch under the persuasion of her best friend and for its good reviews. She treated it as a game and followed the instructions given. To her horror, she had been matched with the one person she hated: her ex-boyfriend, Jace Leighton.

Jace Leighton joined GameSetMatch under peer pressure. He was sure he would never date any of the girls he was paired with. Then he discovered that he had been matched with the girl whom he loved but whose heart he had broken many years ago: Belinda Clarke.

He loves her; she hates him. Will they ever sort out their differences?

3. Sparks Fly

Prompt #67: Well, that was a New Year's Eve kiss you won't forget anytime soon.

Belinda Clarke attends a New Year's Eve party in hopes of getting closer to her crush. Her wish came true when Jace Leighton initiated a kiss at the stroke of midnight. It was her first kiss, one that she would never forget for a long time.

Jace Leighton is the most popular guy in school. He and Belinda are friendly acquaintances who greet each other along the hallway. They seem to like each other but no one ever took the initiative. That changed when he kissed her at his New Year's Eve party.

Things between the two got awkward very quickly as Belinda started avoiding him in school. A kiss between two friends can change their lives forever. What will come out of this kiss?

Now, let's talk about last year's ONC. I submitted a story called Kiss and Tell which was an utter mess. It made it to the long list anyway (but not the shortlist). After the contest was finished, I announced that I was going to write a full-length version of Kiss and Tell which will also be called Kiss and Tell. I've got the plot and I'll start working on it once Coral Bay and ONC are done.

Anyway, I'm just damn pissed that my story randomly disappeared. I have the full story on Google Docs but not the author's notes and the closing statement. If Wattpad can't retrieve my story, I'm not going to redo it. No one is reading the book anyway. If you guys are interested in reading Kiss and Tell, you can wait for the full version. It will be better than the one I wrote for the contest anyway.

Half an hour ago, Wattpad support team posted "Published/draft stories missing from profile" as a Known Issue and I'm really hoping that they will fix it ASAP. I don't care if they bring back Kiss and Tell (ONC2019) but it would be GREAT if they did and make sure it is restored to all the reading lists it has been added to in the past year. If they don't, I don't mind too but then those who are Kiss and Tell on Wattpad Community would find that the link I sent leads to nowhere lol

I hope they fix this problem as soon as possible but it'll probably take forever because Wattpad still hasn't resolved the problem of an incorrect number of reading lists even after 1 year and 3 months.

Meanwhile, please read my 3 ONC entries!

Edit: the issue has been resolved; Kiss and Tell is restored. Yay!
