I never understood the hype of the black hoodie.

Why would anyone want something so dull and boring while you could have yellow overalls and pink shirts to make the world so much brighter?

I ask and wonder what could it be?

Then it hit me,

Maybe because they're adaptable, you could wear them with absolutely anything and absolutely anywhere, to the mall, parties and forests when you wander

Maybe because it kept you warm throughout a cold night where you have been shivering from every whisper of the wind

Maybe because it gave you comfort when you cried over every single episode or over the same guy who left you over and over again just like the same sappy show you watched

And maybe it was just because it was familiar and it had never hurt you

because it was with you through every fight, every tantrum and every downtime and every slumber. 

Well if so,

I could be like that too.
