Littlestar sat next to the fresh kill pile, sharing a vole with Diamondhunter. It had been one moon since Sunnycloud had been exiled, and the cats started to belive that Sunnycloud had actully been the murderer. She finished the vole and leapt onto Tallrock.

"Clan meeting!" She yowled, cats began to gather. Lavenderkits freshly groomed fur shone in the afternoon sun. "Lavenderkit, you have reached the age of six moons and is time to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you earn your warrior name, you shall be known as Lavenderpaw. Your mentor will be Snaptooth. Flowerblaze mentored him well, and i hope that he can pass everything he knows down to you." Littlestar finished, Snaptooth leaned down and touched noses with newly named Lavenderpaw.

Littlestar was about to signal the end of the meeting, when Lilyfur and Jackalpaw burst into camp, with Gustheart hanging from LIlyfurs jaws. 

"Gustheart is dead!" Jackalpaw yowled, "we found him drowned in the stream!"
