Chris' POV:

I can't believe he did that to her! She doesn't deserve this. She's so kind and puts everyone before herself. So selfless.

Everyone stood in the kitchen after listening to her story. Jay and Zeke looked as though they were ready to kill.

"I'm gonna kill him for making you feel like that!" Jay spits out.

"Yeah, well get in line!" Zeke says.

As they turn around Sapphire runs over to them grabbing them by their shoulders. "Guys leave it!"

"What?! How can you just stand there and not let them after what he did to you? Are you not angry?" Her dad speaks up. I was thinking the exact same thing.

"Of course I am! But he's not worth anymore of our time." She says sighing.

"She's right Tim. He's not worth it." Julie, her mom says.

"Why don't we have dinner now. It's getting cold." Sapph says.

Murmurs of yeahs and okays are heard.

As we sit down she says,"I'm going to back there tomorrow--" Everyone looks at her as if she's gone crazy. "--to pick up my stuff." Everyone physically relaxes.

After dinner we sit on the couch and decide to watch some TV while Jay and Zeke let of some steam in the garden. I decide whether or not I should ask her something. I feel like it might not be the right time.

"Sapph, can I ask you something?"

"You just did but go ahead." She says with a chuckle. There's the Sapphire I met in Boston.

"Who's Hayley?" She looks a me confused. "When Jay showed us to our rooms and he came in yours, you were getting changed. Obviously we came in as you pulled down your jumper but I couldn't help but notice he tatoo on your lower back." I say sheepishly.

"Ohh." A look of sadness appears on her face. "Hayley was my best friend. She was like a sister to me. But she got cancer. She passed away when we were 19. I was there, at her bedside. I don't know if you already know this , but I'm a dancer. Every time I dance, dance for her." A tears falls down onto her cheek.

I put my arm around her and wipe away the tear with my thumb as she leans her head on my shoulder. It reminds of the time we watched insidious at my place. But this time I don't have to worry about her having a boyfriend... anymore.

I decide to change the conversation, "so have you got any other tattoos?"

"Yeah. I've got a black silhouette of a dancer behind my ear. It was the first tattoo I had ever got." She says as she tilts her head to show me.

"What about you?" She asks me.

"Well I have a few tattoos." I roll up my sleeve showing her the Taurus symbol on my arm. "My mom's a Taurus, that's why I got it." And I explain to her that I have one that's a tribute to a friend who died in an accident. So I understand what it feels like. [Not sure if that last bit is true. I read it on a website.]

"My mum was actually shocked at first when I got my first tattoo. But I gues she learned to except it. She also told me that she'd faint if I ever came home with something like a full sleeve. Which I don't think I'll intend on getting to be honest." She says while laughing.

We continue to talk about our tattoos and any we'd like to possibly get in the future. It was really nice seeing her laugh and smile again. Especially after what had just happened.

"What movie should we watch?" Zeke asks coming in with Jay and Lucy.

"Your choice Zeke. By the way where's mum and dad?" Sapphire asks.

"They went upstairs. Don't think they want to watch a movie." Jay says.

"Alright lets get this thing started!" Lucy cheers.

******** 3rd person POV********
Little did they know that the whole family had been watching them the whole time. It was clear to see that they were made for each other.

But of course now was not the right time. Not after the recent events.
