Chris' POV:

I'm about to approach her when Lucy, Jay's girlfriend opens the door and let's her in. Oh well. Maybe next time. I make my way to my house and let myself in. There's nobody home. Mum's probably gone grocery shopping and Scott's probably out with his mates. Looks like I've got the house to myself for a while. Maybe I'll invite Jay over later, if he's not busy. After all it is his birthday tomorrow.

Sapphire's POV:

For a moment before I went in, I'm sure I saw the guy from the shops before Lucy let me in. I swear he better not be stalking me. I'll get Jay on him.

"So Lucy, how long have you and Jay been going out?" I say whilst seating myself on the bed.

"Almost a year now. It's our one year anniversary next month" she says happily and I smile knowing she's happy and so is Jay.

After hours of chatting to Lucy, telling each other stories. Well, I was mostly telling her embarrassing stories of Jay from when we were little. I really like Lucy, she's a great laugh and so kind! I'm glad Jay has found someone. I'm happy for him. A few minutes after our laughter had died down we hear the door shut and Lucy tells me to hide in the guest room en suite. This is going to be amazing. He's going to be so happy when he sees me. I've never forgotten his birthday before, normally I just Skype him but this year is going to be extra special. Soon I hear footsteps followed by Jay's voice.

"Lucy? Lucy where are you?"

"I'm in the guest bedroom honey" she shouts.

He comes in and I peek through the gap in the bathroom door to see a worried looking Jay stood next to my suitcase. Oops. I forgot to move it.

"Lucy why are you sat in here and why is there a suitcase here? You're not leaving me are you?" He says slightly alarmed.

"Oh God no! I'm not going anywhere!" She says whilst laughing. "And anyway, it's not even mine".

He looks relieved and confused at the same time "so who's is it then?"

"Well..." Lucy says with a smile on her face while looking at the ensuite door. This was it. This was my que.

"SURPRISE!!!" I shout as loud as I can whilst jumping out of the bathroom at the same time. Jay looks at me shocked for a few seconds then a huge smile spreads across his face as he runs towards me and picks me up spinning me around.

"I've missed you so much!" we both say at the same time. Lucy laughs and joins in making it a group hug. After catching up with Jay, I unpack my things and go downstairs.

"So how long are you staying for Sapph?"

"2 weeks. If that's okay with both of you"

"Of course!" They both say in unison, smiling.

"I'm so glad your here" Jay says whilst hugging me, again.

"Well I couldn't miss my best big brother's birthday, could I? And I've heard you've been telling Lucy about me"

He rubs his neck nervously while saying "um yeah".

"That's cool you know seeing as though I told Lucy about you when I got here too" I say whilst smirking.

"What?!"

"Oh yeah, I know everything and enjoyed listening to everything she told me." Lucy says. "There was one I really liked. What was it again? Oh yes. The one about what Sapphire first called you when she was born." Jay looks like he's seen a ghost, I kiss his cheek and I take a picture setting it as my home and lockscreen.
"You give her a teddy bear for her 1st birthday. You kept saying the word bear so she picks up on it. Your Aunt came and said peekaboo to her. Once she left you tried making hear say bear again. Skye looked at the bear and back at you. She pointed at you whilst saying boo bear. And from that moment on it became your name."

"And it still is to this day!" I say while me and Lucy go into a fit of laughter. Jay's face flushes red. Which makes us laugh even more. "Aww it's okay you don't need to be embarrassed boo bear!"

"Shall I tell you more stories that she told me?" Lucy teases him more.

He's about to answer when his phone rings. Ooh he got lucky there. Next time.

After some time on the phone he turns to us and says. "Lucy, Chris has invited us over for a movie." He's sees me and says "Shit! I totally forgot to tell him your here!".

"I'm sure he won't mind if she comes. I mean she is your sister and it'd be good if she met your best friend." Lucy suggests.

"It's okay I don't mind you go if you want to."

"No you're coming with us. Go get changed into something more comfortable." He instructs me.

I go upstairs and get on my white converse, leggings, and white shirt with some lace at the front.[Picture at beginning] I decide I don't need a jacket as it's not too cold outside and from what Lucy told me this 'Chris' only lives next door anyway. I tie my hair up into a messy-ish bun and head downstairs. When I arrive downstairs I see Jay stood waiting for me with a key in his hand.

"For you" he says handing it to me. "You're family, my sister, and your staying here for two weeks. I thought you might need a key."

I take the key and hug him " you're the best! Thank you!"

"Come on then. Let's go!"
