On a rather sunny day, Taki, Yomodo and Penny went out for a picnic, Taki however being a little explorer, went into the woods, and came across something that amazed her, "Woah." says Taki as she stares into the mouth of a cave, she giggles and runs inside, using her night vison she finds writing on the wall, carved in strange glyphs and that's when the smell hits her, "Gwampa?" says Taki as she sniffs again, she finds herself looking at a damaged Scroll, fifty empty needles, and a beaded necklace, Taki whimpers and grabs the Scroll, a needle being careful to not prick herself, and the necklace, which she then runs out of the cave quickly to her mothers, "MOMMIES I FOUND SOMETHING!!!!!!" screams Taki as she has tears go down her face, "Taki, what is it?" asks Yomodo and Penny, she shows them the empty needle, "YOUNG LADY YOU SHOULDN'T BE PLAYING WI-...." says Yomodo as she grabs it, "Nullicane..." says Yomodo, "What?" asks Penny, "Theres more empty ones, fifty empty in all, and then I found Gwampa's Scroll and necklace.." says Taki as she holds up Obsidian's Scroll and Necklace, "N-No... D-Dad would never leave the Grimm Beads...." says Yomodo as she starts to shake and drops the empty Nullicane needle, and grabs hold of Taki and cries into her daughter's shoulder, Penny hugs her wife. After what may be an hour, Taki leads them to the cave, and shows them the writing on the wall, "I-It's dads handwriting....b-but he seems like he wrote in a secret language.... QUICK FIND A KEY!!!!" says Yomodo as she searches the walls, along with Penny and Taki, "What key? I don't see a door...." says Taki, "A Key Taki, is something that helps you understand something that is ciphered." says Penny with a chuckle. After hours of searching they didn't find one, however they looked at the wall closer finding that the writing was written on circular gear like devices on the wall, thousands of circles, so Yomodo tries to move one, but finds it impossible, and that's when she gets an idea, "Penny Honey, Call Nickel please." says Yomodo.

Three minutes later, a tall dark skinned young man, walked into the cave, his eyes glowing green along with the cybernetic like markings on his jacket, "Miss Grimmsons, how may I help you?" asks Nickel sounding rather robotic in nature, Yomodo smiles and hugs him, "My daughter found this cryptic message, and I'm wondering if you can decipher it." says Yomodo with a smile, Nickel looks at the wall, and tilts his head, "Hmm, it does seem to be an interesting cryptext..." says Nickel as he goes to the wall, and touches it with his right hand, as strips of circuits come out of his sleeve, and attach to the wall, and he seems like he's listening, "There's the problem, their seems to be some kind of motor.." says Nickel as he then goes blank, his eyes glowing yellow and then black the same with his circuit patterned jacket and clothes, the markings begin to glow green along with the cracks and sides, "He's in the system?" asks Penny, "Yep, Nickel's in the system." says Yomodo as the gears begin to move, and then, other circles that weren't noticed moved, and then, the message was clear.

"Help me, I can't remember who or what I am, IT HURTS!!!! there's something lodged into my side, I see death, I have dreams of these girls dying, I don't know who they are, WHATS MY NAME? When will this torture end? I can't speak, I can't show my face, I'm a monster, I had to inject myself with that liquid all of it, to stop it from completely growing, I found a mask tied to my belt, a black mask with white horns and red markings, along with these two circular like filters? on the sides of where the mouth is, the masks teeth look just like mine, bone white, and sharp, I'm taking this bead with me, it turns into some kind of blade, I hope there is a place with people just like me..." the message ended, and Yomodo cries, "Dad..." is all she could say, "What bead did he take?" asks Penny, as Nickel's eyes glow green along with the markings on his clothes, while the markings on the wall dim, and Yomodo checks the beads, "The Lancer..." says Yomodo. "I think it's best if we leave, Taki seems to be crashing." says Nickel, as he motions to Taki, who is fighting to stay awake, Penny chuckles and picks her daughter up, "Honey lets go home, okay?" Yomodo sighs and puts the necklace around her neck, and nods. the four leave the cave, Nickel walks away faster, as Penny, Yomodo and Taki go in a different direction.
