"Happy birthday, Miyako-san!" Iwaizumi said as he and Oikawa walked into Kiko's house. It was quite a nice looking house.

"Your house looks great," Iwaizumi said as he nudged his friend to say something.

"Happy birthday, Kiko," Oikawa said.

"Thank you," Kiko replied quietly.

Iwaizumi handed her a present.

"This is from me and Oikawa,"

Kiko opened it carefully and Oikawa watched her face as she smiled. It was a sequel to the manga he had made her before.

"Thank you!" Kiko said. Iwaizumi saw Oikawa smile. Not a fake smile but a real one – the kind of smile he always wore when Kiko was around. Iwaizumi looked at Kiko. He nudged Oikawa.

"Oikawa has also got you something," he said as his friend handed Kiko a box.

"Don't open it yet," Oikawa said quietly, "Open it when we're gone,"

Kiko nodded her head as she led Iwaizumi and Oikawa into her room. It was a nice room. Oikawa saw the bookshelf full of manga beside her desk and a volleyball on top of her wardrobe.

"Do you play volleyball?" Iwaizumi asked as he saw his friend looking at it.

Kiko shook her head.

"I just throw it around when I'm bored,"

As Iwaizumi and Oikawa sat on chairs, they noticed a box.

"Miyako-san," Iwaizumi asked, "What's in that box?"

Kiko turned.

"Those are just some letters I found in my locker," she said, "I don't know who they're from,"

Noticing that Iwaizumi and Oikawa were trying to get a closer look of the letters, she handed it to them.

As Oikawa unfolded the piece of paper, he recognised Yahaba's handwriting. It was a love letter. Yahaba was trying to take his Kiko away from him. He remembered all the times where Yahaba had tried to take Kiko away from him and felt angry.

"I have to do something," he said as he got up and left.

Iwaizumi and Kiko watched as Oikawa left.

Iwaizumi was annoyed and angry at his friend. He knew that Oikawa needed Kiko.

Kiko, on the other hand, was hurt. Oikawa had left her. She was opeful when he and Iwaizumi had come to her house on her birthday but now he was gone.

Oikawa walked faster and faster. He knew that the rest of the volleyball team were in the gymnasium. He usually would not have missed practice but he loved Kiko to much. Iwaizumi had come with him because he had begged him to do so. He had not spoken to the team much ever since he had saw them outside the shop but now he was angry and knew that they needed to know that no matter what he would always be in love with Kiko.
