Backstory: when she was around 8 she was spending time with her mother at the ocean but suddenly there was a tide came by and separated from her mother she lost her mom ever since when she was a little bit older she pick a very odd ring with a mermaid symbol when she touch it her legs becomes a mermaid tail she jumps in the water she discovers she can breathe underwater she can swim like a mermaid and taught the fishes when she touched the ring again it will transform her back into human again she will keep it as a secret unless it's an emergency to help her friends
