Backstory: he was two years ago before he met his adoptive parents Elitches him and his mother their father abandoned them he wants to help his mother old but his mother was evil and greedy she had other plans she was abandoning him into the orphan cuz she doesn't need him to suffocate she told him a lie about taking him home but she puts him in all fresh and finds out and never comes back for him again it turns out his ma was which all along she abandoned her husband so she could keep all the money to herself and lies about keeping Diego with her so she could get the free money Diego was Laura teachers Mom hopefully she will come back for him one day two years past and still waiting at the orphanage for his mom The Fosters employee soft Diego and take him inside she asks him question about how long has he been standing outside of the orphanage she says two years she was very shocked that his parents will abandon their child like that she offered for him to stay here until they can find good parents for him so he doesn't have to be lonely again he was hesitant at first but I guess he got no choice he needs a place to stay until his mom will come back for him to take him home he hopes it
