Backstory:Cecil was born to his parents, Betty Ongrown and Sebastian Ongrown. He also had a sister who was two years older than him , her name was Catherine Ongrow. The two siblings were closer than anything,when she went on her island challenge,Cecil begged her not to go...so after bribing their parents they let a 9 year old Cecil go with his 11 year old sister. The adventure went great!,she even caught Cecil his Marowak for him when it was only a Cubone. When the adventure ended Cecil was 10 and Catherine was 12. Catherine said when she was old enough she was going to become a sports star and her number would be 018 ,she also told Cecil something…"Always treat friends as your Ohana" he still lives by that to this day. But... something bad happened when Cecil was 15… a seventeen year old Catherine was going to the thrifty Megamart to catch Pokemon but something bad happened...there was a angry ghost type Pokemon..it attacked her and …...killed her. Cecil saw this all and ran away. After the funeral a few days after the incident, Cecil had a new fear, the darkness...well what lurks in it. When he began his island challenge he named his Pokemon after things Catherine liked . Remus and Roman after her favorite YouTube series Sander Sides, Ember how her soul was a fiery ember. During his time he was called the ruthless trainer because he showed no mercy in battle..When he turned 16 his parents thought it would be a good idea to move and they moved to Galar.
