Before the war was even started, Zaydon was originally captured by Dajjal's men until Kai throws a smoke bomb at them and grabs Zaydon to his house. Before Dajjal appears, Kai was originally gonna have a fire-based powers and burns the soldiers to ashes. Zaydon might be thinking in his head and thought that Kai was Cinder's son, but he was glad that he isn't like Cinder.
