• Whenever he screws up, he insists on getting a punishment. But Adrien doesn't have the heart to do so, so he's spared (Disappointing for Calix though, he wanted to be slapped again and again)

Years ago, back in Japan...

It was the day of their teacher's birthday. The whole class was preparing to surprise their teacher with a small party at their classroom.

Kasuke was assigned to pick up the cake. It was 15 minutes before the surprise starts so he rushed to the cafeteria to grab it.

Just as when he got the cake out of the fridge, it started raining outside.

It was 8 minutes before the party started, so he decided to run through the rain. Their classroom was on the other side of the school, but that didn't stop him from going for it.

When he reached the front door, the cake was already partially soaked and he was wet with the rainwater. He entered the classroom to see that his classmates were already singing "Happy Birthday" to their teacher, but then stopped when they saw Kasuke soaking wet.

He slowly approached them, carrying the cake while his body was shivering from the cold.

Just a few more steps and he was about to reach their teacher, when....

He tripped on a piece of chalk laying on the ground and lost grip of the dessert. It went flying right to the teacher's face.

He could feel all of the students stare at him, so out of embarrassment, he ran out the classroom while apologizing over and over again.

The days after that wasn't the best either. He got into all sorts of mishap such as failing most of his tests, getting hit with the soccer balls when he passes by the court, and falling into a manhole while walking back home.

His classmates started calling him the "God of Misfortune" and stayed away from him since they think his bad luck would spread.

Halfway through middle school, his Mom got a job at London and they had to move. He got excited since he wanted to have a fresh start, but unfortunately his so called bad luck followed him to his new home.

He decided to get a job so he could afford to live on his own. He was very happy and teary eyed when Adrien decided to hire him as one of his servants.
