Sagarika and Draupadi left the court as did the other royal women because the game of dice was about to start.

They both were currently with Maharani Gandhari and Rajmata Kunti looking at the gifts they got them.

"Look at these Samragyi and Senapti-Bharya, all these apparels and jewelery will be presented by Hastinapoor to you as an honor after the game of dice ends."

"Only those people get such an honor who have been accepted whole-heartedly. I do not crave presents and honors Maharani. I just want us to be accepted in the Kuru dynasty. " Sagarika said.

"You are the Kulvadhu of the Kuruvansh, everyone has accepted the fact dear." Gandhari said.

"Jiji, what Sagarika meant was that the board of chausar is not the battlefield. First and foremost they must accept this. The meaning of a game is not wining or losing. Its sole purpose is entertainment and they must understand this." Kunti said.

"Pranipat Samragyi, Samrat had staked his entire property and he lost the first round." A dasi informed.

"But the game is over now ?" Draupadi asked.

"No, Samragyi. Samrat is about to place his second bet." Dasi said.

"What will he stake now ?" Sagarika asked. She sighed and left the room.

~~COURT OF HASTINAPOOR~~

"Will you again stake you property now, Bhrata Duryodhan ?" Yuddhistir asked.

"No Samrat. How much pride one can take in his property ? True pride lies in relationships." Duryodhan said grinning evily.

The most wise man Sehdev, the most handsome man Nakul, the greatest Archer Arjun and the strongest Bheem were lost by Yuddhistir in gambling.

Kauravas and Shakuni burst into laughter as Yuddhistir even lost himself in the bet. The pandavas who were now slaves to Duryodhan looked at Yuddhistir sadly and disappointed. The elders too lowered their gaze, there was nothing they could have done to stop this Adharm. Or they could but their personal dharm came in between.

"Das, take that crown off !!!" Duryodhan ordered. Yuddhistir obeyed.

"Now I am the Lord of Indraprasth and the Samrat of Aryavart !!" Duryodhan announced.

"Attendant, go to the wife of these five slaves and to that so called Senapti-Bharya and order them to present themselves in the court !" Duryodhan ordered a servant.

"IMPOSSIBLE !! IF PANCHALI AND SAGARIKA ARE INSULTED IN THIS COURT THEN THERE WILL BE BLOODSHED." Arjun roared getting up angrily.

"Bheem has already broken his mace Das Arjun, and your Gandiv belongs to Angraj Karna. Then what bloodshed ?" Duryodhan asked.

"Duryodhan, my hands are enough for the bloodshed to happen." Bheem said.

"DURYODHAN ! A PERSON BEING ENSLAVED CERTAINLY DOES NOT IMPLY THAT EVERYONE HAS THE RIGHT ON HIS WIFE !! THIS IS HASTINAPOOR AND JUSTICE REIGNS SUPREME HERE !!" Bhism scolded.

"Draupadi is the daughter of my friend, she is like a daughter to me, Sagarika too is no less. Do not insult them Duryodhan, or else with my presence here they have to turn to none for their protection." Dronacharya warned.

"Certainly we won't insult Samragyi and Senapti-Bharya. Mere bacche don't be foolish." Shakuni warned.

"For the right on them you have to win them both in the game of dice." Shakuni said. Duryodhan smirked.

"Das Yuddhistir, if you place a bet on Samragyi and Senapti-Bharya then you can have freedom as well as your kingdoms, armies, everything you lost today, back." Shakuni offered.

"Gandhar raj, I cannot bet on Sagarika. I am proud of her but I don't have any rights on her." Yuddhistir said. Shakuni smirked.

"Tell me one thing, Das Yuddhistir. According to scriptures the wife of elder brother is equivalent to whom ?" Shakuni asked.

"A Mother." Yuddhistir said.

"Excellent. And the wife of the younger brother is equivalent to whom ?" Shakuni asked.

"Equivalent to Daughter." Yuddhistir said.

"Splendid ! Now according to the scriptures, a father has all the rights on his daughter." Shakuni said chuckling. Arjun worriedly looked at Yuddhistir.

"I, Yuvraj Duryodhan, stake my wife Bhanumati and Dushashan’s wife in this round of game of dice !" Duryodhan said.

"I, Panduputra Yuddhistir, stake my wife Panchali and Arjun's wife Sagarika." Yuddhistir said heavy heartedly.

"Don't bhrata, not them." Arjun muttered as tears fell from his eyes.

KRISHNA ONCE SAID TO ARJUN THAT THE ONES WHO FOLLOW TRUTH WITHOUT THE KNOWLEDGE OF FALSEHOOD ARE FOOLISH. AND I CAN SEE HE CERTAINLY REFERRED TO YUDDHISTIR HERE.
