Ocean's POV

I had just told Lavender that I need to go back to the ocean. On the way there, I couldn't help but feel that someone or something was following me.

I sped up but was stopped by two burly squids. Judging by their faces, they are not friendly. I swam away with grace. They tried to catch me with their tentacles.

I pushed them away forcefully and managed to reach the safety of my castle before they caught me.

The guards nodded at me as I swam past. I arrived at the official meeting room. "Your majesty, you look like you were chased," one of the generals observed.

I announced, "We are going to discuss what has been happening in the ocean."

After the meeting ended, I swam back towards Lavender's house. I was minding my own business and thinking of the next meeting so I didn't notice a shadow following me.

Tentacles gripped me tightly and I was knocked out cold.

I woke up in a very dark place. Rocks that looked like icicles were near my head. I blinked to clear my vision and saw the same two burly squids!

"Who are you?" I shouted, trying to hide my increasing fear. "Be quiet!" one of them hissed. "Tell me!" I snapped, ignoring his threat.

"I finally have you in my grasp," an all too familiar voice sneered. The female squid swam up to me with a corky smirk. "Trica," I growled.

"It is Queen Trica," she said in a silky voice. "I am the real queen!" I retorted. The former queen circled around me and said, "Soon, you will be dead and I will be the rightfull queen!"

"Never!" I interupted. "I got the throne fairly." "Well, that doesn't matter so by the end of today you will be dead!" Trica laughed.

I would have slapped her if I wasn't trapped in this rocky cage. "Enjoy your stay here," she sneered. Trica left.

I sent the rest of the day waiting for my death to come. I shut my eyes as I remembered the happy times I had in the ocean and with Lavender.

Those happy memories saddened my heart. I do not deserve to die like this, I thought in misery.

Suddenly, the guards opened the cage and pulled me out roughly. As I struggled in vain, they had brought me to a room with a clear container.

Trica was at a 'throne', watching with satisfaction. Then she spoke, "You shall now 'drown' to death. Any last words?"

I was about to speak but the ocean started vibrating. Cracks began to form on the rocks. It is an 'underwater earthquake'!

The guards fleed in shock for their lives while Trica yelled at them to capture me. I took the opportunity to escape. With all my strength, I swam away.

Soon, Trica and her guards were nowhere to be seen. I gracefully dodged the falling chucks of rocks. I gasped as a particularly sharp rock cut me but I kept going.

The collapsing rocks trapped me. I cries out in fear as there was no escape. Out of the blue, a portal appeared in front of me.

In desperation, I swam into it just as a huge rock fall at the place I was a second ago. When I reached the other side of the portal, I was so tired that I fainted.
