Backstory: she was with a friend the night her father died and so she was sent to live with her godmother Ellie Whedon. As soon as the lockes came into town, things started to piece together and she realized the keys were more than just accessories. They were weapons.
Other: wears a key her father gave her around her neck and under her shirt. No one else knew it existed except for the keepers. It's called the Language Key. It can allow someone to understand any and all languages but only one person can use it at a time. She also protects another key called the control key. This key allows one to mind control anyone but just one at a time.
