Backstory: (ninjago movie only)she changed schools from private to attend Ninjago High because her mother had died fighting a villain in Ninjago city when she was only 9 which forced her to grow up a lot faster than normal kids her age. Dawn was trained in Ninjitzu and was one of the only people known to have mastered airjitzu from sensei Yang before he turned his students into ghosts. She kept that secret but doesn't know spinjitzu yet. She is the only ninja that isn't part of the Secret Ninja Force.

Other: (movie) uses a bow and arrow as well as a spear, no one knows much about her as she transferred because of "mysterious circumstances" that students gossip about.
