"W...Why does it look so...so peaceful?" Talon whispered as he walked around the strange planet. "And why do I have the strangest feeling it's life is not as peaceful as the planet looks?"

He then knelt down against the green blades of grass, gently brushing his hand against it. "Whatever this place is, this is where Kagin wanted me to go...I just hope The Shade don't follow me." He whispered before standing. "The Shade...They can't just go unpunished."

But before he could continue his thoughts, he suddenly heard noises. He looked ahead and saw the life of the planet begin to walk towards his ship. They spotted him. And if they knew he was Shade, he would be done for!

So, Talon made his quick escape, climbing up a strange tree and hiding in its leaves as the creatures gasped and even took a few photos of his ship.

"What do you think it is?" One asked.

"It's an alien ship!!! Aliens do exist!!!!"

"No, idiot. Aliens aren't real. This might be just some kinda meteor or something."

But then, there were loud blaring sirens as what seemed to be the world or at least this city's defenders backed everyone up. One of them taking a device and began to speak incredibly loudly.

Talon hissed and covered his ears, trying not to fall out of the tree. He couldn't be spotted. Why was that so loud?! The whole planet could hear that!

Eventually, after the life walked off an HOUR later, the defenders began investigating the ship. The perfect distraction. So, Talon quietly climbed down and then ran off into the city. His black skin managing to blend in with the dark city. He had to find somewhere to hide from these defenders before he could figure out a peaceful way to introduce himself. He swore never to kill, and now, fighting or even defending himself was going to be a last resort.

After hours and hours of walking, Talon began to feel tired. His legs hurt, and his body ached. He was far from the city. VERY far. Or at least that's what it seemed by going away by foot. Whenever he looked down, he would see road. Endless road. But whenever he looked up at the sky, it seemed to change.

From a beautiful blue and purple night sky filled with stars to a rising orange with inches and inches of cotton candy blue.

Talon smiled a few times before sighing and continuing to walk. "Kagin...I wish you were here, buddy."

Deep down, there was still SOME kind of hope that maybe Kagin survived. But no. He would've either bled out from the wound or was killed by The Shade soldiers that surrounded him. The thought brought tears to his eyes, but he shook it off.

"Just keep moving." He told himself. "Just keep moving, just keep moving, just keep- OW!" The alien cried as he stumbled back. He looked up and then saw he walked right into some kind of gate.

Talon tilted his head before shrugging and leaping over it. This looked like some kind of base. Humans had other defenders. But maybe this could've been a perfect way to show he wasn't evil. So, he decided to explore before seeing a lot of crying out.

There were a bunch of strong looking soldiers, without weapons or tails (which seemed to be a common for this planet), all marching in place. Some were male and others were female.

Talon sighed. "This army better not be like mine." He whispered as he was about to step forward before a giant alarm sounded and Talon hissed and roared in pain as the GIANT sound blared in his head. Why did sound hurt him so much!?

The supposed leader of the soldiers turned around and grunted. "R.A.P.I.D!! MOVE TO THE CITY IMMEDIATELY!! MOVE, MOVE, MOVE!!!"

"SIR, YES SIR!" They all cried in unison before entering the building Talon was banging his head against to block out the noise. But then the giant door of the building opened minutes later and vehicles came out of it and into the city. Thankfully, none of them noticed Talon.

When the alarm finally stopped, Talon was able to shake off his pain and catch a ride by hopping onto the back of a tank and letting it carry him back into the city. Thankfully, it didn't take hours like his walk here.

But that's when he saw a horrible sight when they arrived in the city. SHADE SHIPS. But not just ships, there was a giant WARSHIP above the entire city. Then, another warship floated in. And then another. And then another.

The whole army was here. ALL OF THE SHADE WERE HERE.

Once the army of the life on this planet prepared to battle and even started shooting at the ships above? The battle was quickly silenced.

Then? A hologram showed...of a tall and bulky green Shade. A Stinger. The most feared commander and likely candidate for The High Council.

Commander Shard.

Shard looked around at screens in his ship before he began to speak through his hologram. "HUMANS OF EARTH! WE ARE THE SHADE! WARLORDS AND DESTROYERS OF THE UNIVERSE. I AM COMMANDER SHARD, AND EITHER YOU SURRENDER YOUR PLANET AND ALL OF IT'S LEADERS PEACEFULLY, OR WE TEAR YOUR ARMIES APART PIECE BY PIECE AND TAKE EARTH'S INHABITANTS AS OUR SLAVES. YOU HAVE ABOUT 3 MINUTES TO MAKE YOUR CHOICE. AND IF YOU DO NOT MAKE YOUR CHOICE UNDER OR AT EXACTLY THAT TIME?

WE WILL PERSONALLY START THIS SHORT LIVED WAR."
