''I can't do this alone anymore. As long as I have all this power, they'll never stop coming for me.'' Lloyd told the others, standing on his spot beneath the bell in the Temple of Light. He then sighed.

''From here on out, we can't let anything separate us again,'' Zane replied.

''He's right,'' Jay replied.

''Absolutely.'' Cole agreed.

''Let's do this,'' Kai said, and they watched as he grunted, using his powers to strike the bell, giving the ninja their powers back.

Kai lit his hand on fire, while Zane created an ice arch over his head, Cole made small bits of rock float up, while Jay summoned lightning.

''The Elemental Power, it's inside us,'' Zane said with a smile.

''Of course, it is.'' (Y/n) replied with a grin.

''Fiyaah!'' Kai shouted as he blasted a jet of flame.

''Haha, anyone shocked to see me do this, huh?'' Jay said, making a heart out of lightning.

Kai used his fire powers to fly around, while (Y/n) leaned against a pillar, her feet off the ground. ''I don't think you understand the gravity of this situation.''

''No dirt off my shoulder,'' Cole said, making a rock rise from the ground.

''Chill out,'' Zane said, using his ice to surf around the room.

''Foolishness. This decision puts everyone in jeopardy.'' Garmadon told his brother.

''But it was your son's decision to make,'' Wu replied.

''The young take too many risks. They should listen to their fathers.'' Garmadon told him.

''Without risks, they'll never know how far they'll truly go. Have faith, brother. We will catch Pythor and find Borg. Maybe then you'll rest easier.'' Wu said, putting his hand on his brother's shoulder.

''As the protectors of this land, we don't have the luxury of taking a rest,'' Garmadon replied.

''Any update on the search?'' Garmadon asked as he entered the top floor.

''Our cameras haven't picked up any trace of Pythor or Borg, but the Ninja are in the field where we don't have eyes.'' Wu replied, before looking at the screen.

''No sign of Nindroids in the Toxic Bogs,'' Lloyd reported, on his vehicle.

''Lloyd, while you're out there, do you have time to search the Glacier Barrens?'' Wu asked him.

''Hey, I may not be able to move mountains anymore, but I can still cover ground. Over and out.'' Lloyd replied, before driving off.

''Project Arcturus?'' Garmadon asked, looking at the corkboard.

''Two days ago, Zane and P.I.X.A.L. intercepted a coded message. Something with the codename: Project Arcturus.'' Wu told his brother.

''I think I may have made a discovery.'' The Postman announced, rearranging the letters. ''"Carrot Cup Juster."''

''What's a "juster?"' Wu asked, looking at the rearranged letters.

''I don't know. Yet.'' The Postman answered.

''Keep looking, I don't think that's it.'' The old sensei told him.

''Arcturus. Long ago, didn't we face a Serpentine general by that name?'' Garmadon asked his brother.

''Indeed we did, brother. They even named a celestial zodiac after him. We're not sure how they are related.'' Wu replied.

The alarm beeped, alerting them. ''What in Ninjago's name is that?'' Garmadon asked.

''Our facial recognition software picked up someone,'' Pixal answered.

''Cryptor,'' Wu said, seeing the nindroid general.

''My analysis can only presume they're using Borg to build something,'' Zane told the others.

''But what?'' Pixal asked.

''We need to know where those trucks are headed. Find me the nearest Ninja.'' Wu told Zane.

(Y/n) waited in the car while Kai went inside to buy some snacks. The Fire Ninja told her to be invisible, just in case someone wanted to steal his fancy car.

She sighed, seeing and hearing Kai flirt with the cashier, the girl's eyes on the hotheaded porcupine before her.

''So these are the hottest snack you got? Hotter than this?'' Kai asked the girl, using his fire to heat it up. The woman chuckled.

''99.9 New Ninjago. Next up is the latest hit.'' Said a man over the radio.

''That your ride out there? Pretty hot.'' The woman told him, unaware (Y/n) was there, invisible.

''That old thing? That's just the Prototype X-1 roadster. I'm kind of a secret agent.'' Kai replied casually. The Fire Ninja then gasped. ''Oops, guess it's not a secret anymore. You wanna go for a spin? I know Spinjitzu.''

''Kai. Kai, (Y/n), I need you.'' Pixal said over the prototype's speakers.

''Not now, Pixal..'' Kai replied, looking over at the vehicle.

''Who's Pixal. And who's (Y/n)?'' The woman asked.

''Uh, aah!'' The fire ninja groaned as the slushie from the woman's cup hit his face. ''Oh.''

''Did I catch you at a bad time?'' Pixal asked as Kai jumped into the car. (Y/n) appeared, a grin on her face.

''It was perfect timing.'' (Y/n) replied.

Kai sighed. ''This better be good.'' (Y/n) held on as the vehicle swiftly made its way out of the petrol station and onto the highway, while the cashier watched, an angry look on her face.

''There's a Nindroid convoy heading west and General Cryptor is on it,'' Pixal told the two.

''Cryptor,'' Kai said, while (Y/n) sighed.

''We need you to follow, but not be spotted,'' Pixal replied.

''I'm a Ninja. That's part of the job.'' Kai told her, grabbing a pair of sunglasses and putting them on.

'' We mean it, Kai. It's imperative your carelessness does not jeopardize the mi—'' Pixal said but was cut off as Kai muted the radio.

''Relax. When have I ever been careless?'' The Fire Ninja asked.

(Y/n) started listing times where Kai was careless, making him groan and keep his eyes on the road.

Kai drove around cars, ignoring what (Y/n) was saying and lifting his sunglasses up to wink at himself in the rearview mirror.

''Kai, can you hear me?'' Pixal asked, appearing on a digital billboard.

Suddenly the Fire Ninja could no longer control the vehicle. ''Huh? What's happening? Whoa, whoa!'' He asked, while (Y/n) rolled her eyes and watched what was coming up ahead.

''I've taken control of the X-1 remotely. You can't get rid of me that easily.'' Pixal told him.

''Fine. Have it your way. How close are we?'' Kai asked her.

''Approaching convoy in three minutes,'' Pixal replied.

''Let's see if we can make it in two.'' The Fire Ninja said, pressing a button to activate the booster.

''Kai, you better take over again,'' Pixal said, and he took hold of the wheel.

''Okay.'' the Fire Ninja replied.

''Remember, keep your distance. We only need to find out where they are headed.'' Pixal told him.

''Boring! What I want to know is what are they hiding?'' Kai asked, accidentally bumping a hover-car in his way, while he looked over at (Y/n).

''Careful! Keep your eyes on the road, Kai.'' Pixal replied.

''How can I concentrate when an angel fallen from heaven is next to me?'' He asked, making (Y/n) turn away from him, hiding her face.

'Make it stop!' Morro pleaded.

'Unfortunately, there's nothing I can do about this.' (Y/n) replied.

''This car is worth far more than you. I would not advise returning it with a scratch.'' Pixal told him.

''Noted. Let's see if we can find some killer tunes.'' Kai replied, pressing a button and accidentally launching missiles into the air, alerting the convoy of their presence. They then sped up, making (Y/n) sigh.

''Uh, oh!'' The Fire Ninja said as two nindroids on dangerous-looking vehicles appeared. One hit the side of the car, close to (Y/n), scratching it. The second did the same.

''You've done enough. From here on out, I'm in control.'' Pixal told him.

''Hey, I was driving,'' Kai replied, watching as the driving wheel went out of his reach.

''Not anymore,'' Pixal said.

''What are you doing?'' The Fire Ninja asked, watching them get closer to the convoy.

''Now that our plan's foiled, our only hope is to get you aboard that semi-truck to see what they are transporting.'' The female android answered.

''Ah. I love it when a plan comes together.'' Kai replied.

Getting close to the convoy, the nindroids saw the two, and fired lasers at them, making the vehicle swerve.

''Shoot the mountain!'' Pythor commanded the nindroids, who fired lasers at it, making chunks of rock rain down.

''Aah!'' Kai shouted before (Y/n) fired a bolt of lightning at the falling rocks, destroying them. ''Ah. That was close.'' He said, glancing back.

''I thought "close" was the objective. I can't get past him. Get ready to hold on.'' Pixal replied, confusing Kai.

''For what?'' Kai asked.

''This,'' Pixal answered.

''What's happening?'' The Fire Ninja asked before she ejected a motorcycle, while (Y/n) grabbed her hoverboard and followed.

''Keep your sunglasses close. They're also a receiver so we can communicate.'' The female android told him.

''All right, time to heat things up.'' He climbed onto the tanker, before seeing three nindroids. They fired lasers at him, making him duck. He then looked at his hand, lighting it on fire.

You're fired! You're fired!'' He shouted as he blasted fire at the nindroids, making them fall off. The cover on the tanker burned away. ''Uh, oh. Ninja, go!'' He said as he used spinjitzu to get to the other side of the tanker. He stopped, looking at the symbol on the side.

''Uh, Pixal? I'm sitting on a tanker of jet fuel, and I think I just lit the match.''

''Great now we're both going to die.'' (Y/n) mumbled, annoyed.

'I really hate this.' Morro replied.

''Kai, (Y/n), there's a series of one-lane tunnels up ahead. We must time it right to get you off of there.'' The female android told them, controlling the prototype to drive next to him, making a hole appear in the tanker and making it spill gas in the process.

''Hurry. Jump now!'' Pixal told him before a nindroid grabbed his foot, pulling him up. Kai had no choice but to fight the nindroid, while the prototype kept up. ''Kai now is no time to fight.''

''Getting kind of hot up here. Where are you?'' Kai asked as he fought another nindroid.

''Tied up at the moment,'' Pixal answered.

''You like that, Sparky? Heh!'' The Fire Ninja asked as he held up Min-droid, making his sparks ignite the trail of petrol. ''Oops. Pixal, I gotta go! Like, now!'' Kai told the female android as he saw the flames catch up with the tanker.

''I can't get to you! There's no time!'' Pixal replied. (Y/n) appeared, and the two turned and ran away as the truck was about to explode.

It exploded, lighting up the tunnel with a wall of flame, engulfing the tanker and forcing it out of the tunnel.

''(Y/n)! Kai!'' Zane shouted.

''Kai, (Y/n), Can you hear me?'' Pixal asked.

''Loud and clear. Well, maybe not so clear on the back of this truck.'' Kai answered, holding onto the bottom of the truck with (Y/n). The others cheered, relieved to know they were in one piece.

''Hahaha! We lost him. We might've lost one payload, but we still have the other.'' Pythor said into his walkie-talkie.

''Excellent. Head to the launch site.'' The Overlord replied.

''On my way,'' Pythor said.

''Listen up. The Overlord's alive.'' The Fire Ninja told the others, while (Y/n) stayed silent.

''What? Do you know where they're heading?'' Wu asked.

''Wait, they're stopping. This might be it. I have to be quiet so they don't find my perfect hiding spot and—'' Kai was interrupted as Pythor appeared, while (Y/n) made herself invisible.

''You!'' The Anacondrai snake said, looking at the Fire Ninja.

''Huh? Me?'' Kai asked before Pythor punched him.

Kai grunted as he struggled, chains on his wrists while gagged with his own mask. He tried to speak but it only came out muffled.

''Hope you like barbecues. We're about to have one!'' Pythor told him, looking up at the Fire Ninja with an evil smile.

His response was once again, muffled.

''One barbecued Ninja. Well done, please. Prepare lunch. Oh, sorry. I mean, launch.'' Pythor said, and CyBorg stepped closer to the launch button.

''I don't get it. Where are they?'' Cole asked as the rest of the ninja arrived at Ouroboros, and walked towards the centre.

''He said they would be here,'' Lloyd replied.

''Well, your dad was wrong. We should have never listened to him.'' Jay told him before the ground started to rumble.

''I sense you are mistaken,'' Zane replied before the ground opened up.

''Everyone, run!'' Cole told the others before they fell into the launch site, landing on a platform.

The Lightning Ninja looked up to see the rocket. "Arcturus?"

''It's Kai! We need to save him!'' Lloyd told the others, looking down at the chained up Fire Ninja.

''No, we need that launch key to stop the launch command. If the Overlord gets the Golden Weapons, he'll be too powerful.'' Zane replied, pointing to a door.

''Stop them!'' Pythor ordered, seeing the ninja. The nindroids used their lasers to break the platform, making the boys fall while Lloyd grabbed the ledge.

While the others were busy fighting the nindroids, (Y/n) appeared before Kai, and he broke a chain, swinging with the others and blasting fire at a group of nindroids.

''Hey, where do you think you're going?'' Cole asked, running up to the rockets door and trying to open it. ''Unh! It won't budge!'' (Y/n) helped the Fire Ninja out of his chains.

''Everyone, I need your help!'' Lloyd shouted, holding onto CyBorg's artificial leg.

''Oh, little Lloyd, needing help. Shouldn't have given up all that power, hmm?'' Pythor asked, turning the key.

''T-minus 30.'' The computer spoke. Cyrus dropped Lloyd, and the others caught him.

''I need to get back up there!'' Lloyd told the others.

''Forget them. We need to get out of here.'' Cole replied.

''But what about the Golden Weapons?'' The Green Ninja asked.

''There's more pressing problems, like an entire rocket ship pressing on us!'' Jay shouted in reply, freaking out.

''We need to do everything in our power to make sure they don't reach those weapons,'' Lloyd told them, opening the door to inside the rocket.

''You nuts? Ninja don't belong in space!'' Cole replied.

''I'm with Cole. This is even beyond me.'' Jay agreed with the Earth Ninja.

''We have to try. You said nothing was ever going to separate us again. Well, I'm going. Are you with me or not?'' The Green Ninja asked them.

The rocket launched, headed for space.

''They're too late,'' Nya said, arriving at Ouroboros as the rocket flew up.

''I'm reading Zane's signal aboard that rocket ship, along with five other lifeforms,'' Pixal informed the others.

''Oh, by the grace of the First Spinjitzu Master,'' Wu spoke.

''You wanted them to take risks. To see how far they'd go. Is this what you had in mind? How far? How far must they go?'' Garmadon asked his brother.

''Come back safe to us, Ninja. Come back safe.''
